Similar thing to Daedric Princes talking to you in the Elder Scrolls. Skyrim has a few characters or objects that are required to have their voicelines come from; with examples such as Mephala being a box (iirc) in a room offset to the Ebony Blade, and Meridia being an invisible high elf.

If they weren't linked to Kellog they'd have to be linked to the speakers themselves, which would mean that that speakers would be NPCs. At the end of the day, the audio has to have a source.

Random trivia: Some super mutant sewer sliders level with the player character, so sometimes the super mutant will survive the detonation if it has enough health. If this occurs, the super mutant sort of just falls apart a few seconds later.

Here's an idea: Everytime you kill an enemy, you gain +1 to a random attribute Everytime you lose health, you lose -1 to all attributes Enemy spawns are affected by your total attributes (the more points, the more enemies)

I feel like this answers a suspicion I had about how the suiciders were coded. I've always thought the mininuke they hold is actually just a melee weapon with a 'legendary' effect on it that makes heavy attacks explode like the regular mininuke projectile, and the way the triggermen and other human enemies used to punch with regular attacks and then explode only some of the time really supports my thought about it. Sadly I'm a console pleb with 1/100 science skill so even if I did have a computer I'd never be able to look into the creation engine to find out myself. Nice to see something that supports my thought about it though.

I know of a mod that makes enemies stay in combat as long as they detect something (so they’ll chase it until they find something closer) called no combat boundaries and one called endless warfare (can’t remember what it does, I think it just increases the amount of enemies in downtown Boston) so I imagine those with this mod could crash the game
