Well, well, we can call you the guitar man on this song, you usually don't showcase that talent of yours with such aplomb. You really are a man of many hats. And you wear them all so well. Your song writing, your guitar and the way those beautiful words come through your lips. I have always been a listener of your music and I always will be. Hello Linda ;) Night after night he'll treat you right, baby it's the guitar man (David Gates & Bread) I am delighted you enjoyed the song and performance so much. It makes it more worthwhile. I always appreciate people actually listening to my songs and what they contain lyrically and musically. My leg is not healing but I am able to stand and walk/limp lol. If I overdose it will be on painkillers but I'm hopeful it will eventually get back to near normal. It's great to hear you say I'm the best ! Oh yeah old style slow rock n roll love the beat the rhythm of it so beautiful performed the production is flawless Billy Baby,these songs you write should be all chart toppers I mean it. incredible songs, great story of holding onto love no matter what,your guitar solo Wow! so perfectly played with the melody of this song,you're a master at it my buddy. now all I need is you and Ringo to show up for my sessions,hey Sir Paul too for bass,I'll just sit there have you all play for me while I do some singing. ;) your incredibly great voice is so pleasant there's a warmness in it that few have. ELO Captain Ricardo ;) It's not the beats per minute Ricky Baby and this has quite a lot, it's the heart beats per minute you should be counting lol I'm too sexy for my shirt lol Good to hear you liked the solo, David turned it up a bit cuz it was so low ;) I like you have tried to get Ringo to do the Phil ins lol but he is always worming his way out of it. Hi Nancy ;) Thank you so much for your amazing comments and those string of compliments. The red head in the backdrop was my favourite lol From a Pink Floyd silk scarf . Sorry to say I am still a long way from a full recovery with my knee but also a long way from what I was. I have to confess Nancy that the bottle of white wine was not even opened and that was water in the glass and there was nothing in the other glass cuz "It was over" and she had left me lol. Hi Karl ;) Did I ever tell you that you are the best? Yeah you know I have . That's the sound I was going for and I'm glad we got the right beat for it. It's amazing where our influences come from, hidden deep within. I never thought I would write a brand new song in 2018 and still have the similar feel of something 50, 60 or 70 years ago lol. Good music is timeless, I mean it stands the test of time. I'm thinking back to Charlie Chaplin writing "Smile" old but still fresh in every generation. Music was my first love. Now I'm thinking about Barry Manilow and that great song, "I've been alive forever and I wrote the very first song, I put the words and the melody together I am music and I write the songs" Where would we be without music ? Hey Linda ;) Back for another listen, that's what I need repeated plays lol A riff is something you do after a large meal lol Seriously a riff is shorter and a little repetitive, like a hook in a song. I tried it with one cord and it sounded a bit like string lol Thank you for your very amazing and comprehensive comment. You are special to me and I value your support so much.
