The video of yuzuru with crutches at the medals presentation makes me respect n admire him even more. For years..I suffered from a bad knee....so I can relate to what he went through. ...indeed a real fighter. God keep yuzuru safe n healthy for always.

Some of these heroic moments of injured athletes competing despite the pain and suffering and injury should not be held up as signs of heroism and strength. We do not children and people to think there are not consequences. Being paralyzed for the rest of your life because you chose to compete while injured should be taught. Winning gold at costs should not be encouraged. We all seem to love a good comeback story

In general a lot of shoulder shaking but no tears...and way too much fake drama. Those people seem like they are MOSTLY FROM ONE COUNTRY...maybe thats their culture. Myself I dont think most of it would go in international meets. I said most.

1:44....that was a terribly weak attempt to cry. She should’ve practiced that. Unless u have MASTERED the skill of producing a tear on command...don’t try it. Don’t rush to cover your face or “wipe away” tears. Don’t start your cry with heaving sobs...that’s over the top & it’s the mark of an amateur trying too hard. It’s very insincere. All in all...if you’re gonna fake it..you better know what you’re doing or you’ll just look foolish.
