Steven G Not every religion tells it all. In the most pure sense Christians/Muslims/Boeddhists/Jews and Hindu teach the message of love, respect, discipline, contemtment. And they all pay a lot of attention to heavy sins like lying, stealing, murder and also very important things like anger/lust/jealousy/gloth and greed. Boeddhism is different cause it doesn’t believe in a creator but still their teachings are very useful, they teach a lot about greed/lust and desire (those are problems that many people face in the world and especially the rich west and are unhappy cause of it, it’s called materialism), and i see many people around me suffering cause of that. Many of those are atheist and suffer without knowing how to deal with it. Even religious people suffer also of materialism cause they trust God to fix that. That’s why i pay so much attention to what boeddhists teach cause i believe i should work on myself and my situation first rather then wait for someone do it for me. I believe God helps, but it’s better to not expect it. I believe that God created more religions because we (our soul) are here to learn and probably, we need to learn to accept eachother and live peaceful together( we are not doing a great job at that) To me there is no coincidence why so many religions tells the same message. So many wist men teach the same good morals from the beginning of our existence, not only Jesus/Boeddha/Mohammed but a lot more historic figures from all around the world. There is a quote of Boeddha: There where many boeddha’s before me and i won’t be the last. Boeddha means The enlightened, means he understands everything, done with life/death cycle and ready for the next level, in religion terms it means going to heaven. I don’t think Krs one is a boeddha but he is definitely very awaken. And so do you, you have become spiritual rather then just being a believer. And being a believer is definitely not a bad thing if being morally applied but it’s just following rules cause it’s been told so, and if you don’t listen and pray hundreds of times then you get punished and go to hell. I only pay attention to the 10 commandments and sins like anger/greed/jealousy/gloth and from then on i pick info from all religions. Like Krs one is teaching about listening to your intuition(Rockstar😆💪🏼), since i started to pay attention to it and follow it more, my life has definitely changed in a good way. Sorry for such a long reply!

And it would be very easy if a religion just tells it all cause then we don’t learn that much and it wouldn’t be fair, one half believes in the right god and other not, so one half or more is doomed to go to hell.😂 And a lot of the people of the wrong side are morally very good and have very good harts but don’t believe in the ‘right’ god so they go to hell... it doesn’t make sense. It’s about having the right hart and be good, and what name your God have it doesn’t matter, i don’t think God have such thing like a ego. Ego is a human weakness... Anytime I simply skim through the works of great philosophers, I find confirmation that KRS is so on point in his teachings. I totally get what KRS One is saying with the Rockstar example. To drop out of the matrix is to listen to your inner self. Society is the external world. When you stop allowing the external world dictate what is inside of you, you are allowing your inner self to be alive. This explains why some people can go through traumatic experience and still smile at the end of the day. The physical you has taken a beaten but your affirmations or the voice in you that you hear without using your ears keep you on the up and up.

OK so. . Just for starters I'm 42 years old. I listened to krs1 in the late 80s blue prints of hip hop. Now I listened to this 30 min video. I do understand and agree with some of what was said. But I believe God is nor any of us but a higher power being that we can achieve a meaningful relationship with on this side as well as the other side of life and death. I do believe that we are all brothers and sisters but some people out in this world are just a holes and don't want to love on anyone because they never knew love themselves. I hope God blesses all and all sees love. On a side note Jack of Spades was probably my favorite track. 😍

Finally someone on the same page as me . I've thought of everything he speaks of on my own never hearing this lecture before. Seems like dejavu. I believe in god and believe he created everything and everyone and doing so put a part of him in all of us . That part is our soul . everything is connected through him so just treat everything the way you would treat a part of yourself. It gets way deeper but only open mined people would understand. Most people have been taught their whole life that their religion is the true religion and their messiah is the true messiah and can't see passed that brick wall. face it people all religions were created by man to control man so think about it.
