That's why when people try to compare where slavery existed elsewhere it falls flat. The transatlantic slave trade stole EVERYTHING from African people. They stole their lives, their culture, their religion, even their names. Forcefully wiped away, and they were taken far enough away that they could never return. This was never done before. They were minderased and then everything was just replaced with pain with no way out.

This was easily the best interview I have ever watched. Soooo much wisdom and openness to limitless possibilities in the direction of ushering in our next leaders. I agree that universal law should be the foundation, and starting point, and agreement in law and principles, to establish the ethos of our society. Not gonna lie, Nick Cannon puts up a front for this show but he is very one minded. All in his agenda is to promote black power trying to push down white people. Maybe he should understand that the black man needs more sunlight to absorb vitamin D than the others, and not that you are somehow born with an infinite storage of it. Can you trust a man who says that there was no LEADERSHIP in African civilizations 5:40 when there's plenty of African leaders all through African history? Aksum, Egypt, Nigeria, Mali dynasty,... can you trust a man who makes up a false meaning for a word 21:49 just to add up a sense of wisdom to his discourse? Demon's etymological origin comes from greek, your ancestors never used that word. Demon doesn't mean no man, demon means spirit who divides. Let me explain what's happening here, long story short, someone thinks it's better to use the ignorance of people to make them believe that they're in front of a God, than tell them the truth, because the bag is in the fantasy. Mixing truths with lies, a good tactic but not enough to fool everybody.

"This is what wisdom is. You don't get wisdom being good. You gotta sink to some low places, you gotta talk to some criminals, you got to have a life, in order to gain wisdom." Damn, that's so DEEP. This man is a treasure 😊
Good acronym, with a deep and hard meaning to apply to the self. I would like to see a video of KRS looking at himself and all the misinfo he spread in this Cannon's Class. He stated that African civilizations had no leadership, and that's completely false, e.g Egypt, Ethiopia, Mali.... He stated that demon means ''no man'', and that's completely false, demon etymology is from Greek origin, and means ''lesser spirit'', no African tribe or people never used such a word... it's a shame that no one take time in contrasting the things someone say because he is some famous rapper.

Because it was necessary and the individual had the ability and skills to contribute. It wasn’t driven by money and greed, but community and compassion. We need to revisit this. We were so busy grooving to the beat to hear the truth in the lyrics "Why is That". He was telling us that we the so called black people were Israelites. We are the true sons of The Most High God! We must all come to realize that all skin folk ain't kin folk. There are so many of us who would easily walk away from this tangible world if we could find the mind to bring about whatever it takes to purchase and create our place of peace and spiritual unity.

I'm glad that he said so many good things about MLK, especially during a time when many black youth are taught to dismiss him as being weak for being nonviolent. He and Malcolm X had the same goals but had different ways of going about it. I respect and love them both. And I love Garvey too.

I’m a firm believer in when you need something or when you’re ready for something it’ll reach you. I wonder people truly understand the conversation between these two men. 50:41 I had to pause because, this is a spiritual realization I’m still coming to accept and feel. The human experience.. most have yet to accept what it really is and are more comfortable living in a fantasy and THINKING you control nothing and everything is happening to you instead of BECAUSE of you. We argue about such trivial things on a daily basis because of the fear of the TRUE reality. ignorance is bliss

#Powernomics by Claude Anderson discusses blk sovereignty and more!
@growout86605 жыл бұрын
Anthony Jenkins I appreciate Claude Anderson. My only issue with him is that he talks about making it with white money and working with it, which inevitably acknowledges their superiority then, because they literally create and own that money. He goes hard trying to push the idea of black people being successful within this system, but this system was created to oppress and has never been supportive at all of true black progression. If you really think about it, if we’re successful within this system, then it will inevitably either be as some version of a black-white person and/or basically running “our”(or a) business for white people(or for the system). To me, it’s just like if a slave was allowed to build a house on the slaveowners plantation and he then had slaves working for him. You’re still working for the slaveowner and the plantation. So that just doesn’t make enough sense to me. Ultimately, the current system will not work for us. It seems we’re just looking for comfort in what we already know is BS

847 Savage yeah I’ll say I have an awareness of a some things, because no one really knows anything. We just do and say what we feel, ideally. We realize more and more as we go along, as long as we’re paying attention. (We’re literally living in the classroom) (This is element-ary school)

When I first found this episode, I didn't finish it...but I left the tab open, so that I could, at some point in time, finish watching it. That point in time was tonight. This discussion was SO INCREDIBLE!!!! It's hard to explain the joy I have and had while watching these two intellectual black brothers go back and forth with a dialog that will forever remain as classic educational material. Nick, I have a whole new level of respect for you. I hope and wish for people to listen to the knowledge that you have...not to prove anything, but to teach, enlighten and awaken. What can be said about the teacha, KRS-ONE. I think that most of us knew to expect brilliance from this brother. I can't fully express how inspired I am to learn. Thank you & I look forward to more Classes! Peace!

@ojames19835 жыл бұрын
BS. The prophet is in the wrong home with the wrong people if that's the case. Everything in that book isn't gospel, it was written by men with opinions that isn't true in all aspects nor for all experiences. Think more and you'll find your own debunks from stuff force-fed to you in that book.

@nawfsidehtown29275 жыл бұрын
@@ojames1983 Dude, there is alot of truth in that book. The funny thing is, we experience things from the book today. Jesus had to be Black He did things we do. A prophet talks things into existence. Didn't MLK do that? Didn't 2pac do that, even with his own death? You can grow up with someone all your life and know alot more than him ,and the jealousy kicks in. It's always somebody you know right under you with envy in their heart. You can grow up in a neighborhood all of your life and know everybody. Get rich and then watch them turn on you. You can still be the same good hearted dude, but they'll still turn on you. We deal with the Jesus Christ situations everyday. So a prophet isn't welcome in his own home. If the light shines on me and blesses me to see things clearly and faster than most, somebody will pretend to seek my visions and take credit for them. That's why people say we're god's because we are of him. We're not trying to be worshipped, but he lives inside of us. Nipsey Hussle was killed in his own community by someone he knew for doing the right thing. How many times have we seen this? Too many,so Christ has to be real.
@Howtonaturally5 жыл бұрын
@@nawfsidehtown2927 If people go trough the things christ goes through then that means everyone has the potential to be christ. For me, it's not that Christ is real or contrived it's that we are all capable of being prophets etc. There is no Single Christ figure.
