From the first note - it brought a tear to my eye. Listened to this song a lot during the worst time in my life. Thank you Spiritualized.

this version of this song just gave me goosebumps. he sounds like he is literally going to cry any second, like he is fighting back the tears. this song is verbalising my heart at the moment. there is no better song to describe how i feel. :(

After all these years I still tremble listening to a song for which the phrase 'achingly beautiful ' seems to have been invented. A masterpiece of raw emotion. If true art makes you feel this is art of the highest order.

She didn’t want me. My first thought was to come here. Brings me back to the age of 21 and my first break up. It haunts me, but it is also oh so beautiful.

Absolutely heart-breaking song. There's so much passion. I can identify with it all which makes it all the harder to listen to. When you're feeling down this track is something you can just really connect to. :(

Whoever made the arrangements of the original song for the choir and cords is a fucking wizard. On set must have been unbearably moving to watch live.❤

If you've never been heartbroken before this is your synopsis. Trying to get on with your life with this lingering elephant in the room is the toughest part. The absent minded self-encouragement of this song is so devastatingly true. So glad that I got through that patch!

Beautiful. I remember once seeing a couple at the Glastonbury festival. They were on the ground cycling their legs in the air to this. Was very touching. Cannot remember the year, but it was the first time i ever saw spiritulized.

It's the vocal push forwards and the pull backs that elevate this. A roundness of sound. I love it.

This song is magic, and amazing live... When they played in Boston this song really hit people, but then "Anything More" came later and people who hadn't heard that album yet were simply dumbfounded with how amazing that song was as well - so check it out also.

At 2:45 the choir breaks in and beautifully substitutes other 'production values' that are found on the recorded version.
