You can tell from Gabby's reaction and the comments from the other candidates that Stephen was perhaps edited to look like a villain whereas to me and especially on you're fired he comes across as a really nice guy who perhaps got a bit carried away with wanting to win. One of the best things about this show is seeing the human side behind the portrayal on the main show, if they are happy to come on, have a bit of a laugh at their expense and admit their faults then they shouldn't be villified IMO

To be honest I think once they come off the show they realise that a) they were probably being an asshole to play up to the cameras and b) it was just a game show at the end of the day. Stephen did an interview with another site (sadly gone now), and I remember reading it at the time - he said he was perhaps edited hard to be made to look more of a 'pantomime villain', and obviously being just 1-hour shows they have to edit to make the candidates look as extreme as possible because hey, it's good TV. Think you can see here himself and Gabrielle had no hard feelings.

That 'be specific' thing was like he had read a book on effective communication 101 (very quickly), then used it as a weapon against his fellow candidates. Why didn't we hear about the Insp. Gadget thing before now? I wish they did an In the House show like they do on the Irish series... More celebs - Joan Collins, Ringo Starr, Sir Trevor McDonald, Jim Carter (all just face-time), & Christopher Biggins (aka King of the Jungle).
