I probably don't know what I'm talking about but, if I was Kowalski or whatever his name was, I would have called also. I'm not sure what the continuity of your hand experience with him is in this edit, but, your aggressive bluff shoving was frequent enough I would have started to doubt your credibility and opened my hand range against you. I think you should give more consideration to your at-present table image and not let the charts and numbers that constantly flood your brain override valuable instinct and awareness.

Spot on! I hear to many "well I'm beating most Ace high flush draws, he won't have AQ or AK" but not actually saying what he thinks he might have. And if Kowalski did have Ax suited there, surely he can get it in with better equity if he's patient. I hate solvers like "this will work this % of the time" Just play your opponent here and now, the player and how the games been going actually changes these situations alot, a solver won't help! Aye, obviously that play will work sometimes, that's poker.
@wesleyb14583 жыл бұрын
but the point is that he does that with other value you hands that he wants to balance with the 3bet bluffs and solver showed AxJc was the best 3bet "bluff" hand. You do have to have bluffs. Even tho a lot of mtt nits dont do this lol the people the have the right amount of bluffs win more in the long run
@Weedmc4203 жыл бұрын
@@wesleyb1458 I think Kowalski made a really good, ballsy call tbh. Alot of players fold. I know I wouldn't be loving top pair there.
@wesleyb14583 жыл бұрын
@@DW-ok5gp I get that too. But he is just as likely to have it there as he is to not have it. I know what you are saying tho
@DW-ok5gp3 жыл бұрын
@@wesleyb1458 totally agree you have to have bluffs. And again, when I mentioned the continuity, I'm not sure how long he played to compile this edit. It just seemed to be that in this particular segment, and also many others I've watched, he displays a generous amount of bluffs. Many of which get caught. It just feels to me like when bluffing is the only way to win, he almost finds it mandatory.
@mrcv19993 жыл бұрын
He says that with the J of clubs its a better jam but u could flip it over and make it even a worse jam because it makes it less likely that he has a flush draw that you could sligthly dominate, and he is going to have more often top pair or overpairs where u are in a dreadfull shape to risk nearly all of your tournament life having plenty of chips

10:40 why do you fold a4s but shove a5s? basically same shit ?
@kameroncarr34373 жыл бұрын
Aq is basically ak, are you calling a 60bb shove with aq? You have to put limitations on yourself in certain situations, A5s is the best wheel draw to shove
@dounodawayyy57573 жыл бұрын
@@kameroncarr3437 lol the difference between aq and ak cant be compared to a4 and a5, hes 3bet shoving there, what hands calls him? no worse ace x, hands that hes already ahead of like kq and pairs that dominates him
