Manchester saved him from ending it all when his first two albums didn't sell in the US and he ended up in a bad place. Got contacted on Facebook by a fan in Manchester so got on a plane. Got help to set up a gaff got a band and within a few years had a blinding album and a contract with his favourite label Bella Union. The rest is er...present! Nice one Manchester and the UK generally. Amoungst all the pettines, bollocks and hate there is plenty to be proud of too. When we do it. We do it proper good. Amazing talent this dude has.
