I love the power of music. I was in a shitty job in an industry I had no love for, and I was not really doing much with my life. Not progressing in any way. I was absolutely miserable, but it was familiar and secure, so I clung to it. I heard this song at a party once and it really spoke to me. I started listening to it regularly. After listening on repeat for months, I finally decided it was time to make the jump. I cast aside my comforts, embraced the unknown, left the job I hated, jumped around a few jobs until I found something positive, left toxic personal environments I had become all too familiar with, and started the journey of working on myself and also studying at university, in the hopes of changing my life and chasing a life meaning. So thanks guys. It was a good push

Wow - what a fantastic story. I'd like to think BC's seen this. Can't wait for the Bedford show on Jan 31!

I hoped there was someone out there who had the inspiration from this song. I had already graduated when I heard it but worked and hung out in places I always had. was a in between kind of place.

Wow, I hope things are still working out for you. I just saw him perform in London last night after only finding out he existed the previous day. I'm literally in the same place you were when you made your jump. 10 years in the same place, hating it. But I was in London to get the ball rolling on a new work adventure. Leaving behind the familiar for the unknown. Why didn't I do it sooner... But cool that this music has been linked to change for different people. Take care pal

How fortuitously glorious to come across a video which incorporates footage of one of one's favourite old animated characters...Felix the mischievous cat 🐱!! Most exemplary!

Incredible. The best song that Tame Impala and the Shins never made together with Beck singing with his falsetto. Bravo!!!

@@waitingfortheking.1543 so strange? It has a noticeable resemblance with Tame impala, it's not strange that others can see it, not just you. Indeed i came here to comments to see that i'm not the only one who thought it

Play this video at 1.25x speed. Original is awesome, but the quicker pace has some pretty cool energy to it.
