Great video! We spent countless summers travelling this route , sleeping in our camperized Sprinter van in many secluded spots along the #97. The scenery is stunning along that route. What a contrast though to where we live and travel in Philippines - so many people, cars, Jeepney's, tricycles. Routes in Canada seem empty, even when we go into cities like Penticton and Kelowna. Hardly any people on the side of the road, only in the downtown and park areas. Thanks for sharing these videos! Looking forward to more BC drives!

Drove that route last year, beautiful views. We were there just after the Peachland landslide. Tricky geology… very loose rocks, clearly a big / lengthy job to shore up that slope As a visitor from australia, noted Canadians love of driving fast (but politely…no tailgating, no horns) including thundering down the swoops and across the bridge, traffic only slowed at the very end of the bridge by downtown😎 Naramata side is even better

BC-97 should be a freeway all the way through the Okanagan given the dramatic growth. How to route it through or around Kelowna though?

couldn't agree more! the traffic in Kelowna absolutely sucks!!! The infrastructure in Kelowna is the worst that I've ever seen in my life!! A BC-97 Express highway would be a dream come true!

If it stayed on west side, kept going to Vernon that way? (need a big bridge further up, obviously)
