it always bugs me how adjustable hats always have large gaps for crap to fly into yer engine bay. glad the zzp worked at getting decent coilovers....after of course i made a bunch of my own CC plates....but at least no gaps. still the weakest part is the side loading at the strut rod bushing and seals from wheel TQ/slip n grip events....its one reason i believe they did the large rod gxp bilsteins to increase the surface area and reduce the bending the shaft see's. i think im probably gonna redo a buncha shit to put on the Hyperstrut stuff/knuckle

Alright I'm About To Squeeze The Trigger On These Coil Overs. In Video You Said Your Running 255 45 18s. Is It A 8" Rim?And Do You Know The Offset? the Rims I'm Gonna Be Running Are 17s @ 8"s On 255 50 17's. Making This Wheel Damn Near The Exsact Circumference As Your Tire And Rim Combo. I Only Ask Because When I Bought Stock Struts A While Back I Didn't Realize There Were 3 Strut Option Sizes. (Struts For 16" Rims, 17"Rims And 18" Rims) I Had Gotten The 16" And The Wheel Was Rubbing On The Lower Spring Mount. I'd Image This Won't Be The Case With These Coil Overs As The Coil Springs Don't Look Nearly As Large In Diameter. Also You Said Recommend Getting Longer Springs For Front, Are You Talking About Greater Spring Rate? My Monte Carlo Is A 3800. The Roots Have Been Removed From Supercharger And She's Turbo Now. 31x12x4 Intercooler, 4 12" Fans On The Front And Back Of Intercooler, A Large 40,000GVW Tru Cool Tranny Cooler, A Second Alternator Running Off Supercharger Crank Pulleies And Belt. I'm Not Sure How Much Weight That Adds To The Front End But Maybe Like 30lbs. My W Body Is Kind Of A Unicorn. Its Turbo With 2 Alternators And Will Have About 500lbs In The Trunk Of Sound System, Plus Like 40lbs Of Sound Deadening.

Great review!!! I have a bmw 550i and just want a better stance and handling, especially in corners. My dilemma is I don't want to compromise ride quality. You think the ride quality on these is comparable to factory?

How long did these end up lasting you? I built some custom sleeved agx's back in the day and they rode amazing for ~30k miles (2 years) and just picked a new w body and can either rebuild my old combo or pony up for these.

I am running a 255/35/20 rim/tire combo on a 2008 Buick LaCrosse Super... My question is would there any issues running these coil-overs wit my rim and tire setup?

I've been looking to get a set but I've contacted zzp and bc racing and they both recommended different front spring rates. Neither of them actually had any real world testing experience so I was wondering since you actually have them on your car, what front spring rates would you recommend? ZZP​ says stay with the 5k that they normally come with and the bc racing guys recommended doing 7k in the front. I have a 3800 car so it's about 150 lbs lighter than your car but I just wanted to get an opinion from someone that actually has experience with these things.
