BC Rail - Echoes in the Chasm

The murmur of a K5H (K5 / K5L) horn echoes off the rock faces in Chasm, British Columbia Provincial Park. A fast BCR train then takes a tight curve as it emerges from the woods.

So sad how CN destroyed such an iconic rail system. I grew up in Squamish and Clinton and was on the Budds every summer. Use to drink beer with the boys at the chasm after our nightshift at Ainsworth Lumber just a stones throw from this crossing.

Unfortunately, CN is removing these great locomotive's horns and replacing them with whatever they feel. Fortunately, one of these locos does freight service where I live and it still has the K5H so... god bless living near a railroad line
