I am happy I made my Bich body from a piece of cutting board. :D I am still finishing up the roughness and then going to route for the neck, pickup and circuit template. :)

I owned a 77 BC Rich Eagle that was stamped Eagle on the back of the head stock. When I contacted Neal he said it was a prototype Eagle since the production models did have the Eagle stamp. The electronics were different than the production model and were very similar to the Bich just didn’t have the second pre-amp or phase switch. Awesome guitar that I sold years ago. Wish I still had it especially since it was a prototype. 😢

I just traded for an 06 KOA Rich Bitch Exotic Classic 10. Same neck thru but only a three knob version with the Rockfield mafia pups. Amazing guitar in every aspect.

That has to be the most incredible guitar I've ever seen ,or heard ,sounds beautiful, perfect too , i have an old Antares bich copy ,I'm currently trying to reincarnate ,and I already I'm thinking of making it a ten string ,since I have a twelve string wrap around bridge laying around ,and of course had to replace the neck on it ,and decided to shape the headstock after an Antares ,out of respect ,and love of B.C. Rich ,And Neal ,since he designed the Bich ,But Thank you for the awesome review of this masterpiece ,Neal is a true Master !

You are welcome. Neal is a good friend, I am quite honored that Neal sold it to me. Having this with the serial " PROTO" is for me the holy grail. Agreed Neal is a true craftsman.

My current guitar has a master volume knob, two pickups, a pickup selector, and nothing else. I don’t know what I would do with this thing. I’m very curious to see all the wiring in the back.

Does this guitar really cost $5K? Can anyone suggest where to buy one?
@GuitarBazaar Жыл бұрын
This one is serial # PROTO I wish I could have gotten it for 5k. It was 5 figures to be truthfull when I bought it from Neal Moser. There were 16 of these built numbered 1 through 15 and this one numbered PROTO. Finding one of them for sale would be like finding hen's teeth.

That not having the string passthrough the headstock makes that look like a cheap Chinese clone. I want a BC Rich Bich 10, but I'm not interested in clones that feel very much like the Roman forgeries.
@GuitarBazaar2 жыл бұрын
Clone you say? This is a Bich and was made by Neal Moser with BC Rich and quite certainly not a clone. If you are a fan of BC Rich Bich guitars you know that this is the real deal and "feels" and looks like a Bich because it is. The original Bich guitars did not have a pass through on the headstock they had a bone to retain the strings. Any questions or concerns by asking either Neal Moser or BC Rich guitars.
