There is a place also called enchanted forest in Oregon (I don’t know if there related) but it also has creepy lumpy fairytale statues. It also has carnival type rides and small roller coasters

the part about the lady playing tambourine with her foot and the old people dancing and enjoying music that isn't exactly your taste just really hit for me... I'm so homesick... I've been living in big cities (LA then NYC) ever since I graduated high school, and sometimes when I visit home (Wisconsin) we do things like that... like kinda peacefully "lame" and cute things... it just made me tear up... as much as it can be stressful and expensive to travel I need to visit the midwest again...

Hahaha, so weird to see my home town in your video. When you live in a place for so long, it seems all the same over time, but you captured how beautiful and lovely Kelowna is! Definitely a beach town though. I'll have to send an Ogopogo plush your way and if you ever get to check out 3 valley gap, it's a very neat place - especially in the fall with all the spooky vibes! We went right before it closed so it was very eerie/quiet...there was this sudden loud banging when we were in one of the buildings that startled me so much - I ran straight outa there screaming.

Oh my god I have like VIVID memories of going to that enchanted forest as a child on my summer holiday and the main thing I remember was being immensely disappointed because I thought there would be actual fairies :( haha

just stumbled upon this channel and adore your aesthetic and diy stuff and everything so I scrolled back to watch a buncha vids cuz they all seem super cool and gotta say, LAST thing I expected to see was the city I live in lmao - sorry for this long comment btw when you said "great vegan restaurant" at around 8:27 I went "naked cafe or frankies" and it was frankies lmao love the vid, I really wanna visit the enchanted forest some day, I LOVE roadside stuffs, my folks were never into it, so that just means I have a reason to eventually road trip also! the quails! my mums favorite bird is a quail lmao idk folks jus love em cuz they're everywhere :) every spring mum would call the babies "popcorn" cuz running thru the grass the little dudes would just pop up and down in the grass :) and cannot relate more to the "overpriced beachy stuff" deffos not my vibe lol and ohmygod seeing PENTICTON??? grew up there lol I remember when ogos moved in thats so crazy seeing it in a vlog to me hah - if you go back, I'd recommend the book shop, home away from home for me, worked there for 8yrs, if I lived in pen I'd still happily b there lol

I liked it but it's not super great, there's SA, violence, and a few fat jokes, but also some funny stilted/over the top acting (which I adore)! So if your sensitive to those things or not into that kinda stuff it's probably not the movie for you.

Duuuude I went to Fintry this summer and we stopped at the Enchanted Forest (my first time)! My friends and I loved it so much, it was so strange and creepy and funny and magical at the same time, the Winnie the Pooh statues are still giving me nightmares though lol

The enchanted forest looks marvellous 🖤 In Europe (Netherlands) we have a similar thing called 'Efteling' but less 'on a budget' so to speak, where we would go to as a kid and even adults being from Belgium and Dutch speaking countries alike. I still prefer it over Disney (always refused to go to Disney as a hardcore Efteling kid lol, bc it doesn't look as spoopy and not as polished or rather genuine according to the brothers Grimm's tales). I bet you'd love it too there :) Really enjoyed your little getaway video Rabbit, thank you for posting it.

:0 that sounds lovely. Here in south africa we dont have a huge amount of “forests” per-say, but we have lots of gorgeous gorgeous mountains. I live in a particularly rainy area so we have some enormous indigenous trees. Also, the knysna forest (or toorbos) is a magical place.

We dont have anything like this enchanted forest (aside from like, literal forests, but those are more like grasslands and karoo lol). But what we DO have is these really fucking bizarre fruit statues? just around south africa? near stellenbosch (where my sibling lives) theres this series of strange animal statues all in a line. They’re larger than the actual animals too. Its like, giraffes, springbok, kudu, zebra, an elephant, and then just a pineapple with eyes that stellies students rename each year. Very strange. One of my favorite examples of south africans taking advantage of the post-apartheid freedom of artistic expression lol. Like fuckit the racist party is no longer in power i guess its time to fulfill by lifelong dream of Massive Anthropromorphic Fruit.
