Hi sorry this is so late i was sick and busy with work but im better now!
Also this is kind of an embrassing amount of clothes i know i have a problem, i’ve thrifted for a long time and am very sentimental and have accumulated many clothes over the years but today we go through them together to declutter and clear out some space! I feel incredibly lucky to have clothes as a hobby and understand this video is coming from a huge place of privelege. (no one needs this many clothes its quite wild its built up to this) but i am thankful to have had the opportunity to be a part of these clothes lives…..its so fun for me to thrift and imagine all the people who have worn and will wear these peices after me…all us strangers connected by this fabric we all borrow for a while and maybe transform or lay to rest! what a concpt. i think im being a bit shallow maybe but whatever. no one reads this section anyway. Regardless I hope you enjoy!

Nobody asked, but my style is the exact midway point between you and Laini Ozark :} As I’ve gotten older I’ve liberated myself from anything tattered/costumey/failed DIY that I’d “never find again” (goth clothing used to feel so rare!) so this was cathartic to watch (as someone who wore the same peeling faux leather jacket and boots for all of high school until all the vinyl was gone and only cloth left😂 never again). We all deserve to have crisp and neat, well constructed and fitting clothes if we want them. Especially now that these styles are so abundantly available. That said, I felt so seen with the “what do you do with a mushroom costume you worked so hard on but when will you ever wear it??” Been there! Tbh I feel you could sell it for a pretty penny if the mushroom cap and all the parts are included! It’s gorgeous.

But about the Buffy jacket you made to sell, dude, over $100 is more than reasonable! You not only made and sewed all the patches by hand, you also made the freaking stencils for them! I didn't declutter clothes, but I did get rid of my now-deceased husband's obsolete computer stuff. He had 20 totes full of stuff that was unsellable. He used to refurbish and sell laptops. I don't do that kind of thing, so all of it had to go. It was so satisfying to get it gone. I used some of the totes that have locking lids as new homes for some of my ball pythons who had outgrown their old ones. The rest I used for my clothes, which had already been gone through. Great video, and you have a lot of cute things. And I saw your Swiffer in the closet. I love them. I have 3 of them. (Jan Griffiths).

Maybe, with the lace thing you made: Ask the model person if they want it. If not, take a lot of pictures of it for sentimental value and then take it apart for the materials / modify it to a state where you'd wear it.

I think it’s always fun to let KZbinrs know how exactly people view/watch their content, so I gotta let you know that I had nearly the entirety of this video on while I was deep-cleaning the bathrooms in my parents’ house. @@RattusRattus I literally just pulled 2 bags worth of clothes out of the closet and ordered black dye. I figured I would likely wear some of the pieces if they were black. Which is my go to color. So, wish me luck. 🍀 I also got color stay and vinegar. i know this is a big ask but is it possible for you to make a video on modifying alternitive clothes for newbies bc i love diying but i never know what to make especially when it comes to patches.
