Mom and dad banked at Tol Trust, I remember going in with dad on numerous occasions. I was just a little kid and all I wanted to do was step up on the big Toledo Scale in the foyer when you walked in.

And so began the credit union movement. Northwest Ohio has many credit unions that embrace the cooperative spirit such as Democratic Member Control, autonomy and independence, financial education, training and information as well as cooperation among cooperatives and concern for the community. It's all a part of the credit union philosophy.
