Still catching up on the episodes that escaped me -- the approach of Christmas and, I've not been idle visits to my wheelchair riding mate -- we've managed to get him a WAV (wheelchair accessible vehicle) and that shall appear just after the New Year, he's even allowed me to be a volunteer driver for him, so it will soon be trips to all points West it's going to be a big day for Mike, who has been a virtual house prisoner for about four years. Glad I didn't miss this episode; that operation on the Doosan was fascinating to watch, and didn't that pin come back to you in an amazing condition - they did a great job. I just realised something, Gareth from Auto Save, (nice to see him again) looks like a relation of Chris', same attitude, same humour and two nice guys. Most important, can I wish everyone at BCB and their families a wonderful Christmas and a fantastic New Year I hope the Company continues to stride in the best direction. Thanks for a year of adventure and best wishes.

James just abit of info Those washers are called nordlock washers they basically lock using wedge lock which using tension instead of friction to keep the bolt from unwinding pretty cool on how they work we use them on the bigger scale of things in warehouse automation even though they weren’t applicable for your use 😂 Hope all crew of BCB and other viewers like myself have a lovely festive period loving the channel and the vids always keep me entertained 👌🏽👊🏽

brilliant reconditioning of the pin but keep your eye on the Flange side where the pins are fitted - looking at previous videos it pulls into the hole which means there is a lot of side load on the gripper going only the one way

Hi James & John, I agree with another post, get a hard tyre skid steer to do basic cleaning up every time you move bins. Its the constant mess that must be contributing so much to most of the machinery problems. Get cleaner - get safer - get better! Merry Christmas to all the team.

The way they use to do the mixed smalls empty a car so it was basically an empty shell put all the mixed smalls metal into the empty shell so then it could be bailed with the bailer so it gets crushed smaller but some people were cheating by putting sand and cement into empty car shells so they want to now make sure it's right weight so not sure if your allowed to use an empty shell and fill it full of smaller mixed metals
