Laird meant business!! What a performance from him. It was great to see May bag a brace and Willumsson back on the scoresheet. Yet another cleansheet. Allsop did what he had to do to make sure that Blues got the win. That's all part and parcel of football as we won't have the play all our own way. We're top of the league by two points with a game in hand over Wycombe, and we have two games in hand over Wrexham. Unbeaten in our last 11 games, 9 of those in the league having won 7 of them. Wycombe and Wrexham both having brilliant seasons, and we have to give credit and respect to them for how well they're doing. We have a huge target on our backs. We're the team that everyone wants to beat, and opposition fans want to see us fail and rub our Blue Noses in it. We're in a really strong position. We need to all stick together. That win will most definitely help as it was a comfortable margin, and that's, of course, what we all want to see every game, but it's not as easy and as straightforward as that. That's football! Allsop is doing ok. I like him. Listened to the Stockport manager after their defeat. Effectively said they were crap. Funny how they weren’t against us. Listened to Orients manager and despite their win he criticised the 5 games 15 days and referred to injuries and tiredness. My point is we should cut our own team some slack. However games pan out they have proven they are the best in this league. KRO

It’s great when we play with one striker and everyone in their spot. We took our chances and killed them off with ease. Great first ten minutes by Ryan Allsop but MOTM was Laird. Brilliant performance by him today. KRO

The football was ace in the 2nd half. Everyteam has their spell which wigan did first 20 mins. Allsop with some fantastic saves. Minor gripe is we speed up the passing and don't invite as mu h pressure
