Yes, pretty rare now. We've actually had that truck since it was new. We bought it back in 1990.

That is our 1990 Chevrolet tanker. Old truck in our fleet. Right now it gets the job done, but it will be the next one to go.

Shit, I'd put an old tried and true fire truck against most modern apparatus any day. Simple, cut and dry, no electrical malfunctions to mess up operations. Park, pull and pump. I learned how to pump on trucks ranging from the 1940's to 1980's. Never had any problems. And I'm not old... just rural. All those trucks are gone now, not a single one from before 2000, but I miss the effort those trucks made. The newer trucks are a PM nightmare sometimes.
