The ending confuses me a little, because in the GDR it was possible to write a request to travel abroad to the FRG. For example, some residents of East Germany sometimes visited West Germany for to see their relatives. So, for example, some German from Saxony can come to Bavaria to visit his aunt

Practically, issuing such a request got you on the government's radar pretty quickly and came will all kinds of "disadvantages" to your career, social and personal life. Also, these requests were often just flat-out denied. Pensioners had it easier though. After all, if they decided to stay in the west, the East German State wouldn't have to keep paying them their pension. After all, being too lenient on these requests would have rendered the Berlin Wall and the militarized border pointless.

(Who are estimated to have murdered ne a rly1,400 people. ) Pretty telling that the DDR was pseudo -Soviet garbage that their Secret Police were burning files and running away as the wall fell. They were probably also glad to escape the "proud" Soviet tradition of freezing in the winter and running short of food and goods.

They weren't evacuating in the end of the cartoon, but they were reunited with the people they had been separated from by the border between the BRD and DDR.

И представить всё так, что Фашистская германия осталась в лице ФРГ, а светлые социалисты из ГДР всё пытались наставить своих западных братьев на светлый путь. И ничто из этого не будет оригинальным видением авторов из Rammstein. В любом случае, Rotfront!✊

Что за бред?! Самый лучший период в истории Германии приходится где-то с 1871 года и вплоть до 1945. С 1945 года Германия переживала не лучшие времена, ведь она была раздроблена, но момента объединения и по наши дни, обстановка значительно стала лучше, хотя к сожалению не такой, как в былые годы от Отто Бисмарка и до Адольфа Гитлера. А ваши коммунистические бредни основаны лишь на пропаганде и не более. Мой отец служил в ГДР и я видел последствия на примере небольших населенных пунктов, вроде Родерау или Цайтхайна и немцы местами даже не стали возвращаться в эти поселения и теперь там руины.

Technically, only west end central Germany were reunited that day. East Germany it's still under the polish control. And also eastern Poland it's still under Russian control. So basically, nobody wins that day. It's a fact.

I didn't get the news when the Berlin Wall fell until a few weeks later on the cause I was in basic training. We were under a news restriction. It was a shock for me because I knew very little of German history. All I knew all the name changes the fatherland has been under in the last 225 years.
