I recently had a strong prompting in the Spirit to check up on Bob Mumford. It's been a good 40 years since I received his teaching live and in person.. I live in NorCal and in my experience, without taking anything away from anyone, Bob Mumford is the greatest teacher and preacher I have ever experienced. Never have I met a man so empowered to teach by the Spirit of God. He is on fire. Regarding control, in my experience we must be fully surrendered to God, completely faithful to the word (keep it simple, and beware of weaving, or woven doctrine), and be hungry and persistent in crying out for the leading of the Holy Spirit. As we go through the experiences of being equipped with the tools, he will work with us, giving us grace as we develop spiritual 'muscles'. This leads to the confidence to swing the mantle, and the nurturing of constant communion with the Lord. God doesn't want to control us, he wants us to develop, with his grace (training wheels) the knowledge, understanding, wisdom and experience to rise to the mature carriage of the mantle, as sons. But, Bob Mumford has made a deep, spiritual, indelible impression on my soul - thank God! May the Lord bless you Bob.

Hello mr. Mumford, why is it you think there’s so many understandings of how things should be. I grew up as a child of God, not really fearing anything that might happen on this earth God has aloud us to live in. Yet the realities of others that call themselves believers, darkness is coming and we should, well not saying that spiritual matters aren’t to be reverence, but if the kingdom is full of children, when would a Father cause his children to fear anything. O to walk into his presents, it wouldn’t be one if walking, but on my knees, but where do we go in all these voices that say, thus saith the Lord

Love cannot be forced, and even Father God submits Himself under this decree. Perhaps this even gives some insight why Lucifer was allowed to rebel or even be created considering God's infinite foreknowledge. It was teaching in Wheaton College Graduate School by the late J.B. Payne on The Song of Solomon that began to open my understanding about this. I am ashamed to admit how long it has taken me to even begin to experientially apply this in my life.
