@@jaynecobb7964 yeah I doubt that, cancer doesn't care about your past accomplishments and status'. If anything his time in those units made his health worse. I know it did for mine, especially in the airborne and in tours overseas in Iraq and Afghanistan.

@@jaynecobb7964 he keeps putting out content and videos despite what looks like him being in poor health. What's probably actually gonna keep him down is the cost of his healthcare that his military pension and probably his tricare health insurance won't be able to afford. It speaks to the precarity of all Americans these days. Just one trip to the hospital away from being destitute and in poverty because of the privatization of healthcare in this country. Its really sad.

As always, great shooting from the amazing Larry Vickers. He does well on the timed version of this drill too, which I can only assume adds a more real-life stress element to this drill. That being said, while this makes a fun day at the range, I don’t know how it relates to me working nights in a liquor store, a guy coming in and me having to defend myself in a real life or death situation. In other words, I don’t see the value in any way, shape or form for an optic on a defensive carry gun. For competition, sure. For competing for your life with an attacker 3 yards away? Just don’t need it. I’ll take irons and training 8 days a week over a fiddle red dot that cannot be comfortable or convenient judging from the way it hangs at Larry’s side. As my instructor says every time we have to hold up class for one of the optics guys: “Excuse me Mr. Bad Guy while I acquire and adjust my red dot.”

I'm curious to what yardage your gun is zeroed at and where you placed the dot from each distance. Nice shooting!

At those close distances you have to aim higher by the amount of distance from the red dot to the center of your barrel, using a simple measuring tape can give you exact measurement

Good to see you again Larry! I tested myself on Saturday with my Glock 26 3rd generation, plain iron sights. Just 1 shot out of the 10 area at the longest distance. Very pleased with the results. Will try it again with my Hi Power, I suppose I could easily get a 300 score.
