Oh man!!! Those were the days!!! What a beautiful, colourful city it used to be!!! Great to be reminded of adventures and friends, to be remembered by people whose lives we must have touched in positive ways, and to be in the same movie as Mariscal, one of my heroes in the early 90's!!! AMAZING!!! THANK YOU!!!

Big up to ma boy Kapi. To Spy and the Barca Electro crew and real B Boys. Great memories of doing my bit there during the 1st Anti Sonar festival. Got to go paint properly waay out in the barrio at 3am, trainside as well as drop something in the city centre....jus before the ban kicked in. i've been painting since 83 and i'll tell you, as one guy did in this doco....it was the tagging that killed the scene. The actual art was top notch and the scene was kool (if a lil middle class, some of it) but the tagging fucked everything. It was aaaaall over the city centre, Las Ramblas. Away from the kool painted spots, in the bar, cafe, restaurant streets...tags. Nobody's gona stand for that all over the walls, doors, windows... everywhere. Low impulse control plus misguided and infantile cheap thrills of tagging for the sake of it (real smooth brain shit) destroyed the scene. Locals had every right to reach breaking point and say "ENOUGH!!!" It was mismanaged though in that they swung the pendulum all the way in the other direction, too far, by not sorting out proper legal spots to let the scene continue, but their over correction being "Ban everything, everywhere" killed the scene dead on the spot. i really hope they can sort it out and then i can bring ma boy Part2 over for a sesh and bust out a set in Moog later. ;) Good luck and all power to those trying to make it happen.
