Talking about filling the water tanks made me think, and I remember as a kid we had to hand pump water at my aunts house in the early 70's, from the well to the water tank. Good vid

Thank you! I really enjoy these in depth boat tour type of videos, as I'm still stuck in the yachworld-swamp myself.

Thanks for the interview, John's story sounds like a few of us. Sailed smaller boats as a kid and now have a "75" C&C 27. We are looking to go to a Beneteau 331 soon. Funny how that works.

Thanks Alfy - really enjoyed this. Being in-between boats, it is nice to hear someone else background re. boat ownership along with the pros. & cons.

Great video! That looks like a "perfect" size for a live aboard boat!

Glad you enjoyed it! It definitely had a good amount of space for living aboard!

Good video. I always enjoy boat tours. I would have liked to see some of the cockpit and deck as well.

Yes I should have shown more outside, I got focused on the inside and live-ability.

Great video. Well done. Pretty below, nice layout, storage amazing. Would be nice to have similar dialogue about the rig, deck layout, engine & mechanicals, and how she copes with nasty winds, and seas. iow where could I take this boat? Med, Greek Islands, Transat ? or not. Those sliding covers, will all end up pushed forward in a beat in snot, unless I missed the latch. Mine do. autopilot? reefing? Storm sails ? Maybe I missed a video about this ? Thanks for posting, I subscribed.

Maybe we can convince John to post a more in-depth video explaining all that stuff. :) Due to time constraints I kept this one a little more basic. Really glad you subscribed and thanks for that!

We enjoyed the tour and this interview. If I had to have fold out cupboard doors, instead of those sliding doors, I would set them up so that they could become a shelf when folded out. Also, you didn't show the outside. To be more expensive, you might be able to turn them into a slide out draw, so that you can get to the back gear.
@lifeislikesailing8 жыл бұрын
Good idea for the doors, yes, I had hoped to show more outside.

Shelf? Good for a marina queen, worse than useless when actually sailing, heeling and tacking, under way.

Another thing to think about being a live aboard which your not thinking about yet is age! unless your like Allen Farrell and can stay on board till you die you get to a point where the boat gets to be to much to handle. Iv'e known ones that went to a power boat but still found that to be too much. that's why I got property and sure glad I did, because now I couldn't afford it.
@lifeislikesailing8 жыл бұрын
age will definitely be a factor one day. :/
