That can also come from freehand sharpening when not locking your wrist,and bending it instead of lifting your elbow when ending on the tip.

I have the para3 lightweight in BD1N. If you like sharpening everytime you use it then it's a good blade. I personally can hardly believe they call it a blade steel at all. I use it for prying so it does have a use.

The more you use BD1N and resharpen, the more it will perform. Unfortunately it has a break-in requirement
