I commented many years ago and watched this stunning movie again in2020!! I can't envision any two actresses today remaking this perfectly acted film and I trust no one will!! Bette and Gena are geniuses in this. I couldn't say which one is better because they are equally brilliant!!

Yet, if you watch her few singing endeavors on You Tube, she is quite effective -- because she was truly a great actress and performer. She could pull off most anything.

I saw, and taped this movie when it was 1st shown! BDEyes81, is it just what's left of my memory or was this originally shown on TV on a Sunday, "Mother's Day?" Thanks so much for posting this! Off to see other portions. I'm so grateful!

Same here n somewhere in my house it's on a bus tape...Miss Davis N Miss Rowlands were on the cover of our weekly tv magazine n that too is somewhere w my Bette Davis "Stuff!" Her acting only got better n better if that was possible in the later years!
