BDI Digidapter and TBS Fusion Install on DJI FPV Goggles v2

I like it, we 3D printed ours a year ago and Bardwell took the googles apart to make the connection, if nono. I 3d print my cover and install inside a Bec. And my wire management was perfect.

Is it easy to switch from flying a digital quad to a analog tiny whoop and then back to a digital quad?

Are you able to use the recording to record the analog signal through the goggles still when using the converter?

Yes, the DVR records analog in.

I have no way of measuring it so I can't give you a straight answer. As a practical matter flying, it didn't feel any different to me than my Skyzone goggles.

DJI uses LHCP on Goggles and all the airborne transmitters (Caddx/Air Unit). For analog, I've always used RHCP.

Does the TBS works with any receiver or only crossfire?

It's an analog TX. It works on all the 5.8ghz channels and bands we use for video these days.

How does the picture quality compare using bdi adaptor in Dji compare to using your analog googles?

Quality is excellent. Analog goggles physical screen is more appropriate for analog feed where the DJI screen is massive and setup for 16:9. So there's a lot of deadspace around the analog footage. But the quality is perfectly acceptable.

MY V2 do not have an Analog option at all.

Go to setting’s >scroll all the way down click fpv mode> then when in fpv mode go to the settings option> scroll down to where av input is.

Yes, very very carefully. Start on the easiest end and work toward the other. I found the outboard end to be the easiest to release.

Buying a 600$ DIGITAL goggle and building analog stuff on it.....dont understand, WHY ppl doing this....

Because I have about 20 planes and quads with cameras on them and I'm not willing to write a check for $3580 to swap them all over in one fell swoop; however, I would like to continue flying those planes and quads, so I'm making an accommodation. I also carry about 5 bags worth of different equipment to the field for filming. If I can eliminate one more piece of kit (my analog only goggles) and their battery it makes my life easier. Partial OSD data also really kind of sucks for any kind of range flying. So there are certain craft that will stay analog until DJI gets off their collective behinds and gets us OSD that I can use in post. At $579 they are only about $50 more than Skyzone 04x OLEDs, so they're not some sort of monetary shrine where the dollar amount should dictate how I use my gear. Consider broadening your viewpoint...

@@RCVideoReviews totally agree. Getting ready to do thus to my V1 DJI goggles. I purchased the Fatshark Attitude V6 gkr my planes and wings which all use Analog except for my Mini Talon which I'm running a AirUnit on but like you said " not having enough osd data on HD sucks when flying at ranges. I need compass data along with way more information that DJI doesn't seem to want to add. So after buying the FS A V6's I immediately hated them. It's like looking at a postage stamp and the receivers that came with the FSV6 sucks. Cant even get a mile on my planes. So I ordered this setup for my DJI goggles and the fatsharks are going back. I never was a fan of fatshark anyway. My Aomway Commanders receiver is better than the FSv6 OEM diversity receivers so that tells me something. Fatshark imo is way over priced for what they deliver. Again just my opinion. They can do a lot better at over $600 for Analog goggles. They even feel cheap.

Hybrid is a valid option in my opinion. That’s why I added analog. I’ll keep it for some time to come. This does not have to be an all or nothing approach. Good luck with your dji system.

Because I got a dji fpv bundle brand new for $500 and want to fly analog before the dji so I can improve my skills on a crappy lil analog to crash. And to have options for cheaper analog quads moving forward- offerUp. my noob $0.02
