Just getting back into rc planes after about 24 years. Basically starting all over as all my stuff is so dated. I just received my new radio. The radiomaster tx16s max and have a couple questions. 1. Say I have three planes setup on the radio when I go from one plane to the next to fly do I have to bind the plane every time I switch between them and 2. If I use the insta trim when I am flying for the first time will that setting be set for next time I fly or do I have to go in and set something to keep those trim settings. Thanks

Going to your listed site, I do not find a way to download the STM32 driver. Only a definition of what it is and does. I would think that anyone trying to convince people to use their operating system would tell people how to get their updates and PROVIDE links that work or put the programs in their instructions. Tired of musical websites looking for help.

Looking at the wing connectors. Are they floating connectors? One side or the other should float otherwise you're asking for trouble from a mechanical and electrical connection stand point.

Hi mate, ive always flashed my matek r24d rxs with wifi and never had a problem, 20-30 done , not being arsey, i love your walkthroughs, i now have the nomad and matek r24td is generic, the firmware is radiomaster , but its cool, 250hz but gemini on the td, you have to go into rx on lua and make sure the rx os set to gemini. I have it on dynamic and its not gone above 50mw yet. Thankyou for your tutorials

loving your videos mate I'm staying up late learning heaps from your videos thank you. A question I have is can you please make a video as I am moving away from Futaba to Radio master T16s. I want to set up logic. So what I currently do on Futaba is I have 3 conditions, stall turn, snaps and Spins. Im flying F3a pattern biplane so snaps for example I fly around in normal low rate mode, then I flick a switch to activate the snap condition but at this stage nothing changes as far as flying rates go until my logic kicks in from my stick positions. My logic for snap is full down elevator or up depending on the snap then full aileron and full rudder, when the sticks hit these positions the elevator reduces and the rudder and aileron increase to a pre determined position based on what I require for that snap. When I return the sticks to the centre at a given position not quite yet at the centre the logic turns off and plane returns to the flying rate, low rates. Then I can turn the condition off. The idea of the condition switch is so I cannot accidentally enter a snap condition during normal flight i.e. in a spin if sticks happen to go into the same place the snap is not active. In Futaba they have graphs and it's easy to see where and when sticks are in the set up. In the Radio master I think you use the symbols a>x or such like but I don't know what all these mean or how to use them. A video would be greatly appreciated please. Was C of G on maiden set as stated in the manual? I'm beginning to not believe manufacturer's C of G postion which is crazy, they should know. Perhaps they should add a note saying C of G is at slightly tail heavy for 3D? Which means it's not the C of G , says confuscious 😊

I just updated because I wanted to use a RadioLink receiver and I didn't have the Radlink protocol. This update solved the problem BUT...The radio link receive R8EF defaults to a mode that does not work with the tx16s. You have to briefly tap the bind button on the side to switch modes. It will change the LED from purple (combined red and blue) to just solid red which will work. I found out the hard way (servos went berserk). reply to this if you have any problems with yours and I will try to be more explicit. Has anyone else had this issue? the receiver is Radiolink R8EF 8 Channels 2.4GHz RC Receiver SBUS/PPM/PWM

It's all about what chemistry Lithium cells you have. LiPo those bags will work fine for but if you have NMC, Li-NMC, LNMC, or NCM those are very violent that bag would not of contained the fire and the runaway is just as fast. I would recommend shielding if you want to pop one of those.

Hello, I tried to do as you say for my flying wing but I only have one aileron that works. It lowers and rises to turn left or right and it lowers and rises to nose down or pitch up but only the right aileron works, the left remains still. What should I do? Thanks in advance

Hi John ...on the video you mention {35 mins into the vid} that you should see the altitude sensor when you are looking at the telemetry devices on the /tx16s and rename to RPM. On two of my helis set up with Nexus i do not see this altitude sensor yet in Rotoflight Configurator it is showing RPM correctly for motor override [i performed discover new sensors]. Any idea why it is not showing on the TX16s. Thank you for all your help in 2024...you are by far the best on youtube but more importantly the best at explaining. Merry Christmas

Nothing to do with this video, I had a quick question. I went from flying dutchman 2.8 and jumped straight to centurion 2.10 All looks well and good, should I have flashed other versions in-between for specifics? I plan on grabbing rotoflifgt 2.2 and wanted to be as up to date as possible.

Great videos unfortunately the title is misleading it not flap set up its how to adjust flaps. This does not show how to assign flaps to a channel from the beginning before getting to this stage. Im completely lost on how to set up flaps from new model install to this stage. Will keep looking thru your channel. Cheers.
