It's cool that they're adding more options for heroes, but they are not actually fixing the hero upgrade problem and are actually making the hero grind much worse in the long term. I can't imagine being a new player and havimg a 5th hero to level up 90 times.

U must understand, the hero grind alone gains a lot of revenue for the game, they won't try to make that easy untill they get an alternate similar source. They themselves have said that the hero upgrades have to be done strategically and it's a part of the game.

They dont care about fun except in that it makes them money. Upgrades keep maxed players engaged to some extent, and theyve already made the grind FAR easier for low level players. If they hadnt changed upgrade times and costs and such it would literally take 10 years to max from scratch

Don't sleep on the Champ. As the only hero that targets defenses by default, she's still an important piece in any army. Having angry jelly on the Prince can only go so far since he's still going to target anything once the timer is up (and his vulnerability to air traps). Plus, the Champ has abilities that allow her to regain health.

She didn't suddenly get good with a Hog puppet and haste spell; she became even better sure, but having a hero that goes after defenses is much better than having 4 heroes that just target anything.

For air attacks royal champion will clearly be replaced. Queen, warden are a must. King needs to tank for the queen. But ground armies can't use minion prince so rc will still be used.

How many troops are humans? Archers, barbarians, wizards, hogriders, rootriders, electro titans, Valkyries. I suppose you could say humanoid which is slightly different. But at the end of the day we have a ton of troops in the game which aren't humans, why not also have a non human hero? And the minion thing, we have 3 now, the hero the super minion and the minion and I suppose the builder base one, we have as many barbarians as we do minions, and as many archers, and as many giants, and as many hogriders, and as many wizards. The point is, we don't have many minion themed characters, I could have made the same complaint if it was a giant hero

Yeah the prince isn't gonna be great at higher town halls if your attack isn't air based. And he is unlocked at th9 so that alone should tell you he's more for lower town halls and should be replaced later with the rc bc of root riders providing better attack strats later anyways. But for people who use air attacks his dark orb equipment is gonna be wonderful.

As far as I understand, you that's is only for the Minion prince. As it is a new unlock, that way you won't need to grind from lvl 1. As for the Hall, you'll get the maximum lvl for ur current th based on hero lvls. Eg: If your queen is maxed, you'll get hero hall 11, but ur RC won't be automatically taken to th15 maximum.

From my first impression, I also thought the angry jelly would be the best pet. Rather than a charge/funneling approach, I was thinking along the lines of having easier targetting with your orb. On my main I will stay with the first 4 heroes since I already invested so much ore into them(and currently leveling up the magic mirror for SUI Lalo). On my minis, I rushed th13 to get the RC just so I could count as a "th13" lvl heroes since you need th13 even for the first RC level. Both minis have been planned to sttack with hydra in the near future, so getting a free lv40 MP is great. No need yo even touch the RC on those accounts.

I've been playing this game more than a decade now. COC launched level 17 Village and introduced a new hero as well. I had already upgraded my Village to level 16 before their update and all my heroes upgraded to Max levels allowed for level 15 Village except for the king and the champion who are also almost there. But now they give me a hero who is at the base level of level 15 Village. That sucks.

I don't really get the levels part. For example, I'm a town hall 15, and my highest hero is RC, which is level 37 (three levels under the TH15 max). So does that mean I'm getting a level 70 minion prince or a level 60?

Exactly same problem I saw, weird that it would be level 45 for RC. My RC is level 37 as well and I was thinking of using x2 books of heroes and a book of everything to get max for my town hall so I can get a higher prince. But if it’s at 45 then there’s no point.

Thank god for Hammer Jam!!! My queen been maxed, but I got my Warden up five levels and both my Royal champion/King up ten levels. So all of my heroes will be maxed by the time the update comes out. I don’t like the fact that you can only use four heroes when you attack. It’s helpful when you have a hero upgrading, but otherwise it doesn’t make sense. Supercell would have been better off not even making a new hero. To add a fifth hero, but only allow players to attack with four heroes make zero sense

Well, Based on your informations about the hero hall, my main account as a TH14, should get a lvl 8 Hero hall, but insted, i've got a lvl 7 Hero hall 😢, which with the new mechanic that force you to upgrade it to be able to upgrade your heroes, is pretty annoying, I have to pay 14 M elixir and wait 9 days to be able to use my Hero book that i have patiently kept during the hammer jam event to use it after the update. Also, i feel like that the Hero hall is an unnecessary building. They could have simply added the system to choose your attacking and defending heroes without creating this building. Other than that, the update is really cool.

Let's just take a moment to appreciate how balanced the new hero is. It's nothing revolutionary. It's nothing over powered. But neither is it weak. Air attacks and smash attacks will go crazy with it. The equips are nice and balanced too. Overall, I'd say amazing work when it comes to making changes but keeping the game play same. Looks like the devs will not ruin it like they did with CR😂.

I’m th13 planning on moving up to th14 soon and since the minion prince came out I am unsure whether to focus my resources towards air or ground attacks. No, it doesn't matter. 60 or 65 ,u will be getting th12 max hall and th11 max prince. But 65 and 66 is huge difference, as former still gives th12 max hall and th11 max prince, where as the latter can give th13 max hall and th12 max prince. And yeah, for 66 u need to upgrade ur th, and it seems we don't have any time for that at all, except u have the right magic items or a lot of gems.

so basically we got a new hero who is automatically upgraded in line with the level of the other heroes, which doesn't sound bad until you realize that Supercel gave 70 levels for free to players who maxed out heroes, which translates into tens of millions of black elixir and months of upgrade time saved, meanwhile for most players who still have trouble getting through TH 13 Thay only got 40 levels, so the game assumes that these players deserve additional costs and months of upgrades just because they didn't buy resources that would allow them to get through the entire arsenal of upgrades needed to progress?!

My issue with the minion prince is he doesn't do anything that the other 4 don't do better and this isnt even accounting for the fact that the other 4 get better equipment already. He needed to be defence targetting to create a niche for him as an air army version of the champ

I am almost maxed TH 15 with hero levels 85/90/65/36. King is going to 86 and RC to 37. Total 5 hero levels are remaining. Should I rush to TH 16 and upgrade the queen/warden to 91/66 to get the minion prince at level 70 rather than level 60? 7:35 But the jelly is locked to TH 16 and 17, what about TH 14 and 15 players?

I started th12 almost a month ago and with hammerjam i brought my queen to lvl 59 (all my other heroes are max th11 lvl) Does it mean i will get a max heroes hall for th12 cause my queen is higher than the max lvl for th11? Or i wont cause i would need a lvl 65 hero?

the requirements is heroes level, not just Th level 😂
