I find myself in a bit of a conundrum in my gearing. My current build for Awakening Sorc is Evasion, V fiery black star offhand, at 309 AAP / 401 DP. I mainly do higher end PvE content like Gyfin UG and Elvia Hexe, as well as Arsha grinding and node wars. So mostly small - medium scale PvP, like GvG's, 1v1's, 1vX, and node wars since I can't play on Saturdays. I am stuck between switching to DR, which will put me at 316/323/383 with a V Turo, which will require me to sell my V BS offhand and purchase the V Turo and Caphras. This is because I kind of want to reroll to Succession Ranger, specifically for node wars and GvG. I currently have an Awakening Striker tagged, but don't play him often. So my choices are, stick with my current build and buy a V Sicil, putting me at 297 AAP, for use with my Striker, for small scale. Wouldn't make much a difference in node wars, I'm guessing, since I'd probably die anyway. Or, swap to DR and git gud at Succ Ranger. My Sorc should still be OK, but I would be sacrificing some higher end grinding, which is fine, I guess, since I can still make mob grinding money in other areas, but Gyfin UG and Hexe, I like those spots, but then again, it's just grinding, so no biggie, really. Main thing is PvP. Idk what to do. Stick with Striker tag and get a bit more beefy (V Sicil) or commit to DR and play Succ Ranger. My guild doesn't have a good Succ Ranger currently and the class is fun. We have some good frontliners already, but idk, I remain hesitant to swap for some reason. Maybe because I can't open world 1vX as well on my main? Or am I chicken to learn Succ Ranger? Getting both builds isn't really viable for me since the silver could go into my main build, I just don't know what route to go. Any suggestions or help?

You can use your hybrid evasion striker in NWs for flex positions such as anti- cannons, defence and protecting cannons. Succ ranger is a very stong ranged class if you have a strong mainball. So IMO if you want frags and to play mainball go DR, if you want more small scale pvp stay Evasion.

Hexe is worse with evasion builds no? Cuz the big orcs hit you through it and it hurts cuz u lack dr

There's no correct way, you have to do what you enjoy more, also do you really need that pen turo for succ ranger? If not you can always get a pen nouver and give ranger a try in nodewars, maybe it's not at max potential but at least you can be more confident on your decision

Hello, i play awaken ninja and i have always been DR, since before that i played DR classes. But now i kinda want to try evasion on my awaken ninja, with my current gear i can get to arround 1080 evasion witch c5 muskans and leeburs while using evasion artifact and lighstone set, the thing thats holding me back is that awaken ninja lacks some acc, so i would be left with 285ap and ~830 acc and maybe thats not enough to confortably kill softcap DR players, so if i make the change will i, at least, notice the evasion kicking in? So if you could give me some feedback or suggestions on what to do taking in consideretion the class im playing would be much appreciated!! Thanks either way and have a nice day!

You will notice it in 1v1s against medium geared players. End game you will not really notice it.

Hey, I just have some question for Evasion build. When will I finally feel the evasion kick in ? Both in PVp and PVE, like how many evasion do I need. Also, If i build evasion build do I always need to build lightstone set for evasion ? of offensive should be okay ?

Your choice of lightstone set really depends on your class for evasion, if you play on a class like valk/warrior/wizard/witch/guardian/ranger that doesn't really scale with evasion but you want to play with it anyway, you're likely better off using a lightstone set that grants more evasion, like Centaur or Blurr. If you DO play a class that scales with evasion (Striker/mystic,sorcress,corsair,musa,maewha), you have more leniency as to what you do because your reliance on the extra evasion from a lightstone set to make evasion work isn't as pressing. As for when you really start feeling it, 900 is kind of the starting point, and 1100+ is where it starts to get comfortable. Keep in mind every 5 Evasion is 1% dodge rate, so the difference between 900 and 1100 is **40%**.

1. i feel it since i changed to pen mus and lee. 2. at least 650+ aim for more. thats without any buffs, only gear and crystals 3. most likely yes, but you might switch depending on situations 4. offensive isnt worth it in general. i play full eva in pvp and switch to a hybrid build in PvE. Keep in mind that not all classes should build evasion or even can build it effectively. depending on playstyle it might even hurt you. Evasion gives survivability at the cost of accuracy and ap. even some cystals arent as viable on evasion as they are on dr.
