BDO | Tungrad really noob trap? When not to debo.

*For your understanding* first: *Correction * I refer to hidden ap set effect as sheet (06:20), minor mistake in the is context, just making note. I'm sure you can look past it. revoice cost money :( so it is what it is. ----- its normally only fringe cases that are counter to the main talking head advice. But in this case, i think tungrads have enough purpose that it worth explaining. As this is not my job, i’m not a partner, i do this for fun. i only give advice when i really see a need or issue. I do not try to compete with guides out there, if there are good ones already. The cases where tungrad set may apply to someone BDO build are enough that the item should not be discounted, given its a 5 set bonuses and give its drop in price. Debos are meant to make tungrad lesser and drop in price, so that people wanting to get up in gear, to a point, not the top but good enough for a while, can afford it. Only issue with tungrad is, it is a *dead end* and debos are the next step, so that’s where the confusion is. ...and why some refer to the item as a 'noob trap'. Video explains why that not the case. Depends on the player. --- p.s. Also leaving the minor mistake in to see if someone uses it in bad faith :P - content of its own if it happens. noted the error it 2 times.

Re: the Error. do let me know if a creator does try to use it with out mentioning the correction, clip would be perfects, and I may do a React, calling said creators out :) but most will refuse to engage.

and a none pen debo route is coming out soon. karazad or something its called, and you will be able to add your tungrad's effect to them when when :)

If you do capped war then tungrad is completely reasonable for certain classes. If you do Hi end I think its still playable on certain classes. I have the 5 set with similar AP / DP to you and I have a pen disto or narc to fill the other ear slot. I'll get my debo neck and 2 deb ears when they drop in price eventually. Then I'll go debo neck and ears and tungrad belt/rings (if I absolutely need ap). Also the BSR is not really a gimmick for certain classes. The 200 bsr meteor for casters is bonkers. Also, just the AP / Spd and soon Crit Z buffs will be valuable. Finally, like you say, PA is building towards build diversity, so they seem to be committed to making tungrad viable.

i should have worded the 200% thing better but how it is :P especially with upcoming changes to a lot of classes 200% animation, it going to be cool. Reason i down play it is? because in a Node war, Gvg and so on, if you need 200% normally you get feed it. So i don't disagree that some 200% are great :) and even more will be (we hope) after they get new animations)

Reminds me a little bit of a couple people in my guild that try to swear by Debo and tell newer members to buy tet debo. Meanwhile, those couple players are tapping tet debo to sell. So of course, if they want to try and make sure they sell, they will recommend it. But, luckily a majority of my guild drown those people out. Informing new members to go with what they feel is within their capabilities to achieve in a timely manner that fits their own goals.

important people balance enjoyment with progress... I try to have just enough gear to have fun. sure, i dont win all the time, but if it fun, its good enough. For example, Vistintg NA right now, DP-ingin RBF with no FG armours and tri accessories, isn't easy but is fun ;)

You have an interesting editing style, I like it! Great points as well. I think people just need to think for themselves more. Sure getting advice is good, but advice you receive won't be perfect and shouldn't be taken as the end all be all. Each person should think about what they want to do, research what they need, and go for it. Sure they'll make more mistakes, potentially waste more time. But in the end they'll learn from those mistakes, and have a more fulfilling experience when they find what really works well for them. Otherwise, following the meta hearsay for advice just leads you down the same route many other people are going and ends up a chore as it might be "good" in general, but not best for you. So think for yourself, do some research, take advice as information to merge into your plans (whether it aligns with what you want or not) and go for it. That's my stance at least. That said. I'm probably go for Deborekas, as I like to reach for the peak. I'm also already in a comfortable spot where I don't need to go for tungrads, meaning deboreka is naturally the next step for me. We'll see if I can make it through the grind or not (probably not lel).

Agree, but it is human nature to want to be told what to do. This way, if its wrong, you can blame the person giving the advice :P Love trying things for my self, and if I get it wrong, so be it :)

cant say i looked into it, when to sleep right after the ball and didn't know it was a thing :) if its + 100% that's kind of interesting. don't know how much worth that would be, as it means giving up the belt slot, but may make thing interesting. i do remember something about BRS and new weapon, and if its was another +0.5 per hit, then that probably more worth adding to the weapon as an effect.

Gear Gating is stupid. If you can still win with Tungrad then it's a great set. If you can still win your guild wars with Tungrad it's a great set. Requiring Deboreka and possibly sitting a Tungrad player is some elitist BS.

I think such people find it confusing that anyone would not be in agreement with them, would not want the same things. example. horses. I never went for t9s, I know have 2 for free... i still prefer to ride my t8 with it t6 skin, as it look better in my opinion :) Cus, i have fun in the game, rather than worrying so much about having the best things. and i just hope more are doing what they find run, than what they are told is best.

If the hammers were not introduced i would have sitted on my tungrad set tbh, I agree, tungrad a better option if you do not plan to grind coz 5 PC tungrad pen set is way cheaper than 1 pc pen debo xD

As a pve only player, I have been over the numbers over and over and literally don't give a shit about debo now. Sure some day maybe I will have to care, but from what i can see. I can get 988 total ap, more than fine for a good number of endgame places and what I want to do. Also, yes I do care about the BSR cap cause I can depending on the spot reach 200% with in the 60 second of buff up time. That total ap is naturally not including ap buffs from the 200%. The way I see it is, I can get more ap and just do the same shit as always, or I can for a fraction of the cost get a perfectly good build that also unlocks a new feel of gameplay with self sufficient 200%. I get that debo is the best of the best, who cares. my class isnt the best of the best either.

yup... really feel they 'lads' chatting in the streams i saw, forget that not everyone is pushing for top pvp. One of the reasons i thought this video needed to be said. I love pvp my self, but a lot don't, and they should not be worrying about things that give very little to no benefit. Although i say the 200% is a waste, i love it. I was going for a full tungrad set before we knew about the set effect, as i love playing with 200% :) be it for my fancy shai 200%. or casting 2 times 100%

maybe, but as the video explain, Debo is the way but, tungrad is the way if your not planning on upgrading in 6 months (3 months ago that video was) Cus debos will be come more accessible. Mez wos rite!

@@K9L_IA yes that is true. hopeful they look at the date on the video :) As for new players finding this video, i think they are more like to find an UpToDate one from a bigger creator.. i don't put my self forward as a guide maker, more of a monitor on current directions. I keep this video around cus i think is shows, given when it was published, i was fair to say wait, to the people i was talking to at the time and the given context of the video. **BUT, i will take on board what you have said onboard add a note to the description ;)
