BDR91 to EIM

Do you have to replace the receiver. Does the t3r speak to the bdr91. As it’s just out thermostat that isn’t working?

Hi. Great video. Thanks for posting. I plan to swap out my BDR91 for a new recriver....but instead of the T3R i plan to buy the T4R. I assume it will be just as easy to do that? Maybe its yhe same receiver as for the T3R? Thanks agin for posting he video Mark

Hi Mark. The T4R has a different receiver, however the wiring to that different receiver will be the same. The same advice in the video is the same advice when installing the T4R receiver. Good luch and many thanks.

Thanks so much for the prompt reply Scott. Actually my main controller for all the channels at the boiler level is a Secure 3747. I don't suppose you happen to know whether Secure have a wireless programmable stat/receiver that could control my underfloor heating manifold like the T4R??

I'm trying to replace my bdr91 with a nest, I'm confused about how to wire it. The BDR has wires as your video shows, bit how do I rewire this to the nest? I was expecting there to be just LN and then AB wiring. Bit there seems to be that extra live.

Hi Carlos, Unfortunately The product you mention is not a Honeywell Home product and is something that I am not familiar with and would recommend to make contact with them directly. Or install a Honeywell Home T6R smart thermostat instead which makes the content in this video relevant for the T6 (wireless relay) product for a BDR91 relay . Many thanks and happy holidays.
