I think this has been said before, but the US mil should hire this man for propaganda, he makes higher quality stuff then the government itself
@user-wu6qb2xl1c10 ай бұрын
i believe currently the propaganda has been made not to appeal to future soldiers, but to people to not think theyre heartless killing machines with some politics mixed in, from what ive heard recruiting has shifted back to the people who would want to join due to impending conflict, who are into things like this
@hypershrimp_10 ай бұрын
@user-wu6qb2xl1c yeah last couple of years it was mushy stuff that literally no one will be convinced to join the military by. Last couple of months it's back to the clasics

At 1:30, seeing Russia and the US working together after the end of the Cold War makes me imagine the possibilities for cooperation had Vladi not come to power. As I recall, Russia was one of the countries which let US aircraft operate from its airbases in the wake of 9/11
@nukclear274110 ай бұрын
@@patrickkeenan5603well, the Russian people wouldn't have wanted to join, and one of the major requirements to join nato is that the majority opinion of the people is that they want to join. Added to that, Russia would've had to do insane amounts of military restructuring to be compatible with NATO, as NATO highly prefers having interchangeable ammunition for heavy equipment, which is usually 155mm guns for artillery, and 120mm for tanks. Russian artillery is usually in 152mm, and their tanks have a 125mm gun, meaning they'd have to spend billions of dollars Russia did not have in order to fit their military into NATO.
@Stinger9139 ай бұрын
I am really skeptical Russia let us aircraft land at its land airbases but I do know Putin permitted us transport and logistics aircraft to overfly Russian airspace if that makes sense.
@bigpapi66889 ай бұрын
I don’t think Vlad ever actually trusted the US, let alone liked us. So for all the people that bring up how he wanted to join nato… sure dude. I’m sure the KGB guy wanted to join the organization made to beat the USSR. But yes, if someone else more in line with yeltsin or Gorbachev had become president I could only imagine what world affairs would be like today.
@Mister-Tea6 күн бұрын
@@bigpapi6688 The US is not an ally you can really trust, they've always want to ascend domination and have control over everything and everyone, that be their ennemies and their allies. Look at how the US deal with the EU, a very trusted and old ally of the US, but they treat them as second class people and betray them regularly. Putin and Russia/USSR always wanted to keep an iron fist of control over their population and the countries just around them, which is why they never really like to work with the US as you can understand why.

Bro I am so fucking happy someone else finds these 80s US Army ads as awesome as I do.
@bigpapi66889 ай бұрын
All the military has to do to get recruiting back is to pay for more badass military movies, and make more natowave ads. Pretty simple. I for one would love another Desert storm movie, jarhead was really the only big one and it was great. That war was such a phenomenal success, you could make some badass movies with it
