I know exactly where you’re coming from Alicia. I have been experiencing the same thing. What you’re experiencing is self awareness. Especially in this moment of spiritual awakening or spiritual growth. You’re looking at your lifestyle through different lenses so things seem unfamiliar and it makes you feel uncertain or uncomfortable. But being uncomfortable is a good thing because it means you’re growing. Pray to God for guidance on what it is you’re going through for certainty or clarity of whatever it i… if its the right thing. Whether it be new opportunities, new people coming into your life or decisions that you have to make. Pray and ask God “is this the right path?”

I know your conversation wasn't necessarily about secular music, but I remember when I was about to graduate from college, I went on a secular music "cleanse" from 2000-2003. That was a time that I really began to know God for myself and I stayed away from most (let's be honest here lol) things that felt like a distraction. I am SO grateful for that time in my life and I believe that I'm still benefitting from it today. Thanks for sharing and I'm looking forward to where you're taking us on your "new" channel. ❤
