Thanks a lot Nigel! My teacher had just taught me this last week, but I felt I needed further clarification and your video did the trick. On a side note, how about a video on how to best record a saxophone? I'm looking for tips, but I find most content to be very thin: they talk about microphone types, maaaybe positioning, and that's it. No tips on whether you need any special treatment on walls or behind the mic, how to avoid recording the sound of the keys, adding pedal effects when recording or how to approach different environments where one might need to record. Just a suggestion! Cheers

WHat kind of tecnique has to be used when bpm goes above 240? I am struggling to clear all the phrases but I start to get a muddy sound, no more definitions between notes.

He's actually trying to play with a recording of himself, so he isn't actually playing, if you watch that full video you can see him laughing at Coleman Hawkins trying to do the same. The director quickly told Parker to stop laughing, it's quite funny.
