You both are so talented and beautiful, I've been a fan for years! I crushed on you both upon discovery, because your routines felt so authentic compared to certain comedians that felt like they try hard. Not understanding why moms were having a hard time with their kids being home schooled shows a crazy level of privilege. Some people can’t afford to miss work and can’t afford other child care or are single moms. And some don’t live in mansions and had to try for siblings to not kill each other in a two bedroom apartment

My mom told me I was an easy kid. When she would work from home, I could entertain myself w/ little supervision: I’d play handball against the wall in the backyard, play w/ my Transformers toys, read comics, and later, play video games. I guess it’s harder if you have super-social kids that are rebellious or get stir-crazy but I was an indoors type that didn’t necessarily need the great outdoors that much. Going to the market during the lockdown was an allowed necessity that must have felt like an adventure at times 😝 It must also be harder if you don’t get along w/ your family that well; pre-lockdown, or living in a cramped home. I don’t need a ton of personal space. Having a declared deadline, if possible, to say Covid has ended and everything goes back to pre-Covid times would help someone like me to feel better about the whole situation but I’ve been working the whole time so my life didn’t change much, but working in fast food got MAD-busier 😱 All the small businesses DIED and big corporations got ALL their profits. I’m sure the CEOs and shareholders LOVE that part 😡 but that’s a whole other topic.
@laura15153 жыл бұрын
I loved this interview Whitney! Also I felt for you when you were talking about the Whitney show backlash and Natasha responded that she didn't think there was any. It kind of felt like when I told my friends from highshool about being bullied by other girls and they basically were like that didn't happen.

I feel like why the "healthy" people don't call in is because we know and love Whitney for what she is, and that is a person who talks at us but doesn't listen. And won't ever listen. So the "healthy" ones recognize that. P.s. I called in once 🤷♀️🙃

Hey, I’m from Brazil and just to clarify: it is definitely not ilegal to schedule your c-section. Actually, it’s really really frequent, so the last few years there has been a rise on the conversation on why is that, is it because it’s practical for doctors to push it on their patients so they have an easier schedule, vacation, etc? There’s a lot of false beliefs around normal/natural birth that scare many Brazilian women... So the schedule c-section is probably the most common way to give birth in Brazil. The conversation is if that you have the right to have a pregnancy plan that should be respected when possible. I’ve never been pregnant, but remember waiting for gynecologist appointments in the same room as pregnant women waiting for their ultrasound and all of them knew exactly when the kid would be born...

Lol, Whitney, you’re the only one who hears that stuff. I mean, in real life I do too, but it’s not audible on the pod. It’s not paudible, if you will. it’s the neurodivergent who pick up on that, so I totally get it, but don’t worry, it doesn’t get picked up by your fancy mics.

Hi Whitney, wasn't sure where to comment, but I just watched your show "I love you" on a Comedy Centralral show, I live in New Zealand so we often get out of date episodes. But I just wanted to show my appreciation for your stand up comedy, you have a great stage presence that even the camera picks up, the hilarious scenarios you do, complete with facial expressions I just enjoy so much that I just wanted to reach out and say thankyou for sharing you and your humour with us. Your a born entertainer and nothing ever falls flat or is boring...your just SO funny and it was a real treat skipping the channels on a night I was feeling really down and a bit depressed, and you instantly silenced my low mood and picked me up, just by being yourself. And there's not many people in the world who can do that for viewers, sorry if my comments on the wrong social media but again just expressing my gratitude for you and how epically great you are in your craft! 😁😘

Whitney: are you worried about plays cos they’re live?! They can’t do a retake and show that to the audience?! Worried about a sneeze, a cell phone ringing in the crowd, someone getting stage fright, etc.?! Last time I saw a play, a prop didn’t work, but the actors improvised and it was funny but the play was also sorta a comedy/musical anyway 😂 We all had fun 😀
