One I saw a team of police (2 constables, 1 sub-inspector (female)) checking drive-and-drive violations near Garuda mall, Bengaluru. Even my friend was drunk and got caught by them, breathalyzer showed 40%, and they gave 2 options to drop the car with them or else pay on spot. They asked for 10K, but somehow we negotiated to Rs. 7K, hence we went to ATM to draw money and pay them to get relieved. All this process took around 30 mins. During this time they caught not less than 6 violators. Collected not less than Rs. 6K from all. So within 40 mins, they collected approx Rs. 40K. just for 40 mins they collected Rs. 40K. This was around 09:50 pm. Just think if they do the same for 4 hours how much they can collect, not less than 2 Lakhs.
