I like the fact that the frittside stays down there in the zone well with a slow float. When I throw other flat sides, if I kill the bait for a second or 2 the bait is already almost subsurface. And yes the frittside bills are pretty fragile.

I have broken countless Frittside baits. Those bills on them are fragile like fine china. I hate to throw them, but they absolutely catch bass.

Yes sir, bill's break easy. I got 3 hanging from my fishing bench in my basement. I broke 1 by hitting a log trying cast by log close I could. Hit it head on, and broke in half.

I haven’t fished the Berkley Frittside yet, but my Spro Little Johns with the circuit board lips have not failed me yet. Also I have several Rapala Ott’s Garage flat side crank baits and they have performed well also.

I 100% agree. the circuit board lips are my favorite for sure. wish they put them on the frittside!

I don't use them because of all the complaints I've heard from them breaking. I use wood cranks you also have to be careful with wood slapping them on the water to get the weeds off is a big no no . Wood moves completey different in the water and looks way more realistic than plastic cranks . I'll never stop using wood cranks. But I use plastic to megabass cranks. I will not use cheap cranks because they just end breaking. I would rather use the John crews spro cranks because they are made better. Most of the time I'm using wood.

@@af4od02 I use black label too and rapala ph makes nice baits too a little pricey though and I like black label paint jobs better than ph . Bagley makes some nice baits but they are a lot cheaper in price. I broke the bill off 3 different Berkeley crankbait models in the same day. Slapping the water and cranking in rocks . The bill breaks or just comes off completely

I break them all the time! I love them because they catch fish but the bills are cheap! By far, the least durable crank on the market! I would love to see you do a video on adding the foil to them vs buying them.

not sure yet there are a lot of custom painters/ lure makers out there so I would have to do some research and keep the price around what i see. honestly probably go a little lower to be as fair as possible.

I have been disappointed in QC of even the Rapala DD series! Countless cranks have the bills come off. I end up losing the body. $$$$$$$
