Be Like Tony - A Lesson in Kindness

Be like Tony and use his lesson in kindness to inspire change in the world.
For those of you who don’t know Tony, we met when I was filming season 1 of The Kindness Diaries in Pittsburgh.
We crossed paths in a local park and I embarrassingly asked if I could stay in his home that evening, not knowing he was in fact homeless and living on the streets. Tony opened his heart and let me into his world for one day and he let me stay the night with him. That one night with Tony changed my life forever as he showed me that true wealth is in our hearts not in our wallets.
Not only did Tony change my life, but he’s inspired millions of people, all around the world to be kinder, more empathetic, and compassionate with his selfless act of kindness.

Leon, I watched all your Kindness Diaries episodes, and this one in particular was so very meaningful. I remember it was downtown Pittsburgh. I remember you gave this man a chance to get some schooling and I hope that he did. Blessings to you, Leon, for helping so many people
