"Be My Downfall"/"It's Never Too Late To Be Alone" - Del Amitri - Red Bank, NJ - July 6, 2023

How lucky were we in New Jersey that Del Amitri took a detour from their tour with Barenaked Ladies to play a headlining show in Red Bank at the 246 seat The Vogel? Extremely fortunate! The Vogel is part of the Count Basie Center for the Arts, and it was the perfect setting for this special night.
This video is the very last song of the night, "Be My Downfall" and it is a different performance in that it showcases lyrics from the beautiful Del Amitri song "It's Never Too Late To Be Alone".
I really do hope you will enjoy this clip, and I would like to thank Del Amitri for this show. The band came to the States last year for the first time in a quarter century, and it was a great surprise to have them back on tour here so quickly and to wind up with stand-alone show in what, for me, amounted to a home game, is something I appreciate very much. God willing, we will do this again someday.
