@@she_soheavy so basically you can only beat talent if it doesn’t have drive. Other than that it’s impossible to beat.

When people say Im smart.. Im better... Im scary... I just tell them that I only got 2 talents: obsessive focus at getting better and caring about the details that no one else has enough focus to see. Im not that smart. Im not that great. It's just how well you can focus on the little details that no one else cares about. Then be obsessed with the details below or aroujd it. And never stop

Big Name right There. Obsession refers to an intense, persistent, and often uncontrollable focus or preoccupation with a particular thought, desire, or emotion. It can involve excessive thoughts, feelings, or behaviors towards a specific object, person, or activity. Obsessions often interfere with daily life and can cause distress or impair functioning. If used positively its a great asset.

Youv'e really helped me. I am a soccer player for a top acedemy and with the war going on in the middle east i lost my grandma i felt like quitting felt lonely... i felt like i wasn't good enough, this gave me the motivation to KEEP WORKING NEVER QUIT KEEP GOING!

Being obsessed is one of the coolest characteristics in a team player. They're usually trying to get away from something - it's like a trauma in a way. People that are obsessed will get very far in life. They fall in love with the journey not the reward.

I had a friend that say “not for your talent” when I asked him about joining a league he’s in. That made me a little mad, because what he saw on the court and thought talent. He didn’t know about the years of hard work I put in before. I just don’t like the word talent, every professional out there isn’t there cause of pure talent. They put in the work. I’m against talent, even shows that have the name talent in them. If god gives you a great voice, then great.. your talent will take you far. I want to hear people say “keep up the good work”. Not “you’re very talented”. No one wants to be talented and lazy. They would rather be hard working and above average.

I'll just refer to one part of this vid, I dont want to write pages of stuff lol. Near the beginning of the vid one guy says "dont sweat the small stuff" is inherently wrong and the great ones sweat every detail. I completely disagree, you cant apply these simple wham bam statements as some sort of magical blanket that covers and applies to everyone. Some people OVER analyze the small stuff and are crippled, make no moves one way or another. Paralysis by analysis. This is just one thing I plucked from this video, as I said, I could go on. Point being, for some people, being obsessed with the goal and not sweating the small stuff might work. As for Kobe Bryant, if he never played with Shaq, Gasol, Bynum and coached by Phil Jackson, he'd have zero championships. Then would you be listening to this simplistic "motivational" talk? Takes a team to win, in team sports...lol. Kobe was obsessed as he went 6/24 shooting in game 7 of the Finals vs the Celtics, but Ron Artest hit the clutch shot. Gasol and Bynum dominated the offensive glass. Shaq dominated the Finals in years prior to that. Obsession had nothing to do with it.
