France does not have a colony that belongs to them in India at the present time. There were French colonies but now they belong to India and the people speak French there. Likewise you will find some people speaking Portuguese in Goa as Goa was a Portuguese colony.....

The skin lightening issues stem from colonization. Every country that was once colonized or oppressed by white people in power, has this issue. These beauty standards Where pushed onto people, dark skinned people were made to feel that way since the beginning. But the issue is not the norm anymore. With so much awareness through the internet people have come to accept themselves. But yes few people are still engulfed by this stigma.

Things that are NOT UPDATED in Video: - Jammu & Kashmir is now split into 2 union territory. Indian parts were occupied not only by British but also France, Denmark, Portugal, and Netherlands.... So when they came they settled in Those parts.... And if they settle obviously they will spread there language and culture.... After Independence they were gone.... But the culture and people stays along and that is the result of those French speaking, or other European languages spoken in India. And apart from Muslim Religion all other religions have kick started in India. Muslims came from Persia and Turks to India during there time in India.
