What's up everyone, Erik here and welcome to hardware for gamers, for those of you who are new to the channel I review and test PC cases, CPU coolers, PC case fans, and graphics Cards. Before I get into the overview, to have full disclosure, Be Quiet did send me this case to test and review, but as always all the opinions expressed in this video are mine. I will have timestamps or chapters down in the description, So you can jump to whatever interests you. But I do Recommend you watch the whole review. Okay, with that out of the way on to the overview. There are 4 versions of the Pure base 500.
The Pure base 500 : Which has a covered front panel, the left side panel is metal, there are 3 colour options and has a starting MSRP of $80 USD.
The Pure base 500 window : Which has a covered front panel, the left side panel is TG, there are 3 colour options and has a starting MSRP of $90 USD.
The Pure base 500 DX : Which has a mesh front panel, the left side panel is TG, there are 2 colour options and has a starting MSRP of $110 USD.
And finally what we’ll be looking at in this video the Pure base 500 FX - which has a mesh front panel, the left side panel is TG, there is only 1 colour option and has a MSRP of $150 USD.
The dimensions of the 500 FX are 46.3 cm High by 23.2 cm Wide by 45 cm Deep. So it is a good sized ATX case.

I bought the 500DX with an Arctic liquid Freezer III which I placed at the front sucking air in. 2 x 140 mm on top also sucking in and 1 x 140 mm at the back blowing out.

I have had a bequiet case for 5 years now and it is super silent. Fans are superb. One 140mm started to rattle a bit, otherwise great.This case has only 1 front usb a and how the glass panel is removed is really annoying. It is a bit pricey.

Yes for 150 USD the TG panel should swing or slide, but most people would likely only need to deal with it once a year...ish. If you are someone who changes things out a lot then I can see it being super annoying.
