Humility is one of the hardest things. Thank God for the Church, friends, and family that keep us grounded.

This type of modeled humility creates the conditions for truly loving our neighbors and experiencing real communion with others. Thanks so much for the challenge and encouragement!! We all need this, especially those of us in the public square.

Awesome, Steve. I find a public mea culpa to be very Christian, indeed. (Way to pollinate without necessarily attempting to...:-)) Also, nice way to extend it to describe the importance of dialog and reflection to avoid cocooning and instead expose one's self to possible "direction correction" (not that your position needed correction, of course; personally, Halloween being one of the top "holidays" celebrated by Satanists is a deal-breaker for me, but, well, I may be wrong to see it that way...! :-)). Many thanks!!

I love Halloween and will always celebrate it. I also celebrate All Saints Day with making Solon or so cakes and the children who know that always come back the next day.
