The organ in my father's house had three keyboards and full conclave of footpedals. It was made by Este Organs of Bratelborn, USA in about 1880. We bought it from a city church.

Be thou my vision, O Lord of my heart; naught be all else to me, save that thou art - thou my best thought, by day or by night; waking or sleeping, thy presence my light. 2 Be thou my wisdom, and thou my true word; I ever with thee and thou with me, Lord. Thou my great Father; thine own may I be, thou in me dwelling and I one with thee. 3 Riches I heed not, nor vain, empty praise; thou mine inheritance, now and always; thou and thou only first in my heart, high King of heaven, my treasure thou art. 4 High King of heaven, my victory won, may I reach heaven’s joys, O bright heaven’s sun! Heart of my own heart, whatever befall, still be my vision, O Ruler of all.

Magnificent playing, thank you Rob. God bless us all. Here for any who want to add their own voice (after the introduction), are the words: 0:30 VERSE 1 Be Thou my vision, O Lord of my heart; Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art. Thou my best thought, by day or by night, Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light. 1:04 VERSE 2 Be Thou my wisdom, be Thou my true word; I ever with thee, and Thou with me, Lord. Born of thy love, Thy child may I be, Thou in me dwelling and I one with Thee. 1:37 VERSE 3 Be Thou my buckler, my sword for the fight. Be Thou my dignity, Thou my delight, Thou my soul’s shelter, Thou my high tow’r. Raise thou me heav’nward, O Pow’r of my pow’r. 2:09 VERSE 4 Riches I heed not, nor vain empty praise; Thou mine inheritance, now and always. Thou and Thou only, first in my heart, Ruler of heaven, my treasure Thou art. 2:41 VERSE 5 High King of heaven, when vict’ry is won may I reach heaven’s joys, O bright heav’n’s Sun! Heart of my heart, whatever befall, still be Thou my vision, O Ruler of all.

Tune Thaxted with the Lyrics of " We pledge to One Another" at the wedding of my daughter. Acknowledgement of the source of the tunes will be next to the hymns in the Service Sheet. The wedding by the way will take place in the Anglican Provincial Cathedral in the Capital Honiara.

Great Rob! I recently got a job as a Sunday morning organist for a Catholic Church near where I live - I start properly a week on Sunday and this is the first hymn I’ll be playing. Just wondered if you you do requests? If so, I can't find the following old hymn on KZbin. "There's a light upon the mountains, and the day is at the spring....."

Are you wearing dance shoes, or are the special shoes for organ playing? They look almost like split-soled dance shoes to me! I was so fascinated by your footwork! I've never learned the organ, and fear I'd get all mixed up with the foot pedals if I tried. You make it look easy. :) This is so lovely. Thank you for sharing your talent with us. :)

crazysingingchick Hello There! - These are typically Organ Shoes for playing the Pedals, I had these given me by my late Organ Teacher, I've had these for a long spell now and will need upgrading to the "real shoes" called "Organ Master Shoes" Oh yeah it's easy when you know how too many thanks and keep watching! ;o) x

Hi there, I live in America and cannot access the Oystermouth CD that y'all released, nor can I find it on iTunes. Is there a way to ship one to America? I can pay you all on PayPal or something. This is SO BEAUTIFUL.

Don't mind the tutorial honestly, but the repetition is superfluous, lacking musical variety...

IT'S GOOD, BUT WHEN YOU GO ON AND ON IT IS BORING. You play well so take heart it's not all bad news...

Fair enough, but it's not congregational singing, it's a tutorial. Personally I'd play one part of the tune for it and then move to another, unless of course there's variation to the next verse which there's not except for a few stop pulls and then played exactly the same. Not for me I'm afraid but it's good that's all...
