O God Beyond All Praising Tune Thaxted: All Saints Church Oystermouth Swansea

Heres another good tune for Mothering Sunday "O God Beyond All Praising" To The Tune Thaxted ( I Vow To Thee My Country) I know Arthur likes this one I hope he has the Volume up on this one! :-)
The Sound was captured using the ZoomH2 at around 80% on Max Gain to capture the true sound of this fine Organ.

I always knew it as 'I Vow To Thee My Country' (which never gets played in Aus because I guess we're not Brits). More recently, though (I'm guessing because of the Canonization of Sr Mary MacKillop (Mary of the Cross) the Josephite Sisters have used the tune to create "From Penola's Plains" (I've only ever heard 2 verses used, but here's all 5 of them catholichymn.blogspot.com/2016/02/From-Penola-Plains.html) some of the wording is a bit compersome, but you get the idea.....

Mr. Charles I can't tell you how much I enjoy your playing, and this hymn in particular. Today is my birthday and I awoke with "O God Beyond All Praising" on my heart. I played it over and over while singing along and going about my daily chores. The magnificence of the tune cheered me and set the tone for my day. Here in the Western U.S. pipe organs are all but obsolete, and it is a pleasure to be able to listen to traditional hymns played so beautifully. Many thanks!
