John says that he's not a great drummer, not great technically. And he's weak on his left hand. He's also doesn't have the greatest voice. But he has an honest voice and he always seems to be having fun, which is infectious. We saw him with the Beach Boys in 2009 and had a great time.

John was chosen over Brian Drummer for 50th Anniversary by Brian John Also Sang A lot of background Vocals Tour ! John been with Beach Boys since 2020

@@howie9751 I don't know about the drumming thing, but he's always sounded great to me on the drums. But he "doesn't have the greatest voice?" He's a Cowsill, for God's sake! He's got a great voice! And yes, I'm old enough have his last name mean something to me.

@@cwilson6990 I think there's a typo in your comment. John was with the Beach Boys since about 2002 or 2003. Sadly, he was let go from the Beach Boys in the spring of 2023.

John Cowsill always looks like he is having a lot of fun - odd thing I noticed - they changed "I feel so broke up" back to "I feel so break up" - which is how the Kingston Trio/etc sang this song.....
