Thank you! With regards to permits, I am not too sure but I think as long as you pitch a tent, a permit will be needed. Best to write-in to SLA to check.

Hello Zass! I personally do not use sleeping-bags while camping in SG. The heat and humidity gets borderline unbearable (for me). That said, when it rains, it does get much cooler, and for that, a towel might be a better choice. 😊

Hello! I reckon that will depend on the size of the tent, and the weather on the days before you pitch. From my experience, regular stakes work well, and if you have a family with you, maybe putting the bags in the corners of the tent will help too. 😊

Hello ZC1995... In my personal opinion, pretty much any tent used in our climate will be "too hot"... 😅 😅 That said, choose the right spot (constant winds), having the tent's doors/windows/vents strategically positioned to maximize the air-flow, and bringing along one or two USB-powered fans, will really help. Regarding tent, I personally prefer those that have two-openings on opposing ends, as that really helps the wind/drafts. 😊 😊

I am not too sure if there is a limit, but it will also very much depend on how much supplies (food, water) you're able to take with you. I brought with me 5L of water, and it lasted me about 30hrs.

Hi Hong, I just stumbled upon your video/channel, and am impressed. However, do you need to walk for more than 2 km to reach the campsite?. Are the campsite being designated, or any suitable place will do?. Aren't there a toilet/bathroom to get tap water?

Hi Richard, and thanks for watching! 😊 To answer your questions: 1.) For the campsite I reserved, yes, it will be a 2km walk from the St. Johns pier. There are some sites that are slightly nearer, but not by much. 2.) Yup, reservations/booking are required for the campsites (on the SLA website, and not the nParks website.) 3.) There is a bathroom not too far away from the beach/cove, anywhere between 550m ~ 800m (depending on where your campsite it located. 4.) I did not see any fresh-water taps at the bathroom area, but I also didn't go looking for it. I carried with me 5.5L of freshwater (and 7x cans of beer). Hope this helps! 😉

Hello GJ` Yup, a (Temporary Occupation License) is required, 2 weeks in advance, from the SLA website (not Nparks).
