This was so much fun to watch with you through the Premier last night! I hope you do this again. I’m so happy that Bella! .. made it into the video. That Beagle looks awfully familiar. Oh wait, she looks just like the one I’m walking right now at 5:30 in the morning. 😉 I’m happy you got your beach day and you picked a really good one! One of my favorite spots in all of Florida. The weather was great. It’s so funny because all the spots you were walking around I have so many memories walking around those areas with my family. I wish I could’ve been there too and I really appreciate you shouting me out! There is much beach ahead for the both of us, there I hope I can make the next beach trip. Very cool video! Was just at Ft. Desoto beach last week and we saw a dolphin swimming in the lagoon on north beach. 🐬❤️. Also I think those birds dive bombing for fish were Terns

Great video Chris. I actually got the chance to come to Tampa / St Pete last year in May. Had a wonderful time. Also got to travel all the way down to Naples on that Trip. The weather the whole 7 days we were there was absolutely perfect. St Pete beach is Beautiful. Would love to come back to visit soon. I m from Indiana so the weather here is cold at the moment. Looking fwd. To more adventures with you Chris and love it when Tampa Jay is with you as well. 💕

Thank you so much for this! Can't go to the beaches around where I live as there's a good chance of getting caught in the middle of a gang or drug-deal gone bad shooting. I've been on beaches in SoCal, to Key West, to Long Island, even the east coast of Florida where I had a "could have been worse" bull shark encounter. I can say by FAR my all time favorite is Siesta Key Beach! I love it, I love IT, I LOVE IT!!! I can walk for hours or just lay in the sand and just lose myself listening to everything from nature to some Stephen Stills....in my headphones! Someday, Sarasota could become my third home...perhaps second as I've been there more times than I can count since '94 and love the area.

I could feel that warm Florida sun baking your skin! Thanks for taking us to the beach with you. It is warm for a few days here in Kentucky, but not that warm! I lived all over Florida, including Tampa, Ft. Lauderdale, Ocala, and Apopka and my favorite beaches were either in the Clearwater area or Panama City, where the sand is snow white and the water emerald green. I grew up in New England until I was 15 where when you went to the beach you would run into the water and your legs would go numb because it was COLD! I left Florida in 2003 and have not been to a beach there since then and miss it. We lived in Utah for 13 years before moving to Kentucky. I have been to the beach in the San Diego, CA area since 2003, and to Rockport, Mass. on trips, but I really do miss being closer to the ocean. So, the next best thing is to watch you enjoy it-thanks!

gotta say this was an awesome beach day vlog. you picked one of my favorite beaches. i'm in st. pete so it's not far from home at all. you need to get jay to take you to pass-a-grille beach down south from the don cesar hotel here in pinellas county. parking can be a challenge on the weekends but go during the week, it's a really great place for a date/day at the beach. also, west coast beaches rule! keep up the good work. so glad you've found happiness in florida, now get your butt back down here permanently, girl.

North Beach is also a big hot spot for bird activity early in the morning. We were out there at sunrise that morning taking pics of the birds before the crowds get there.

Great job on the beach video I hope you find your back to the car I think you did here is the beaches that I went through out lifetime fort Walton beach near Elgin afb when I was young Miami Beach not in the water that in Florida folly beach isle of palms and Sullivan island not in the water that alle in Charleston sc Barnstable beac on the cape cod Massachusetts as last Venice and Santa Monica beach in Los Angeles California you probably went those that I mention in Los Angeles California when you talk southwest

Fort D is so nice....My family would go there every Easter and have a big cookout and Easter egg hunt for the kiddos...you should do other beach vids and rank them....St Pete, Treasure Island, Madeira, Indian Rocks and Clearwater...which btw is always ranked as one of the best in the country....maybe I'll run into you guys one time! Ahoy, Cris! Beautiful day...beautiful beach! I can smell the salt air! Next time you're stuck without a pillow...make one of sand and cover it with your towel! I make my own "sand chairs"! They're comfy and free! You asked...so I'm gonna tell you. My favorite thing to do at the beach is feed Cheetos to the gulls! They love them, and it turns their little beaks orange!

That flamingo towel is everything! 🦩😍 You are absolutely right about February being the perfect time to visit Florida in terms of weather! It's absolutely beautiful (and my skin was THRIVING last week lol). That beach looks so nice! I've never been to a Floridian beach myself, but it's been on my bucket list for a while. I love that this one has some nature trails to explore too! I'm just a 30 minute drive from Lake Erie, and I've also done beaches in Nova Scotia, Punta Cana, and a few along the Mediterranean in France. And it's true - every beach is different! I'm a huge fan of building sand sculptures, and just spending time in the water.

Thanks for a nice day at the beach! I had to laugh when you said the water was cold...it's at least 10 degrees warmer than Santa Cruz right now :-) I've been to Ft DeSoto on a couple of cross country road trips from the west coast. Really nice place, love those blue-green waters and that bright white sand! If things go as planned I hope to be there again some time in mid-April. You asked about favorite beaches/activites, so...my favorite beach has to be La Jolla Shores. When I lived in San Diego I was there once a week for a jog and boogie boarding in the summer. Nowadays I'm partial to Seacliff State Beach in Aptos, home of the "famous" cement boat--great beach for walking, you can easily hike 4 miles or more during low tide. Until next time, happy trails!
